Reading Mode disappeared from Adobe Acrobat on two Samsung tablets around October 16, 2026.

Devices:

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 — Android 12, One UI 4.1, Acrobat 26.10.1.51190.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ — Android 16, One UI 8.0, Acrobat 26.8.

Previously, Reading Mode was available and worked normally on both devices.

The option has completely disappeared from View Settings. Only Continuous, Single Page, Two Pages, and Two Pages With Cover Page remain.

Troubleshooting performed:

Tested multiple PDF files, sizes, and page counts.

Tested portrait and landscape orientations.

Cleared application cache.

Force-stopped Acrobat.

Opened PDFs through Samsung My Files.

Updated Acrobat on the A7.

Tested locally saved copies of shared PDFs.

None of these steps restored Reading Mode.

An interesting observation: an existing PDF on the A7 still opens in genuine Reading Mode, even after restarting the tablet. However, newly downloaded or duplicated copies open in Continuous Mode.

Please investigate whether this is an Android application regression or a feature-availability/configuration issue.
