Tabbed Interface & Better Multitasking
I’ve been using Adobe Acrobat Web Beta for the past three months, and it’s been a surprisingly reliable tool for my daily workflow. I mainly rely on it for reviewing documents, making small Pips NYT edits, and sharing files with colleagues, and I’ve found the interface to be clean and responsive compared to when I first tried similar tools a few years ago. What I really appreciate is how quickly I can jump into a document without needing to open the desktop app, which makes it perfect for working on different devices or when I don’t want to install extra software.
That said, one area I think could really improve the experience is how the app handles multiple open documents. Right now, moving between files feels a little clunky; I often end up with too many windows or tabs in my browser, which breaks the flow. It would be great to have a built-in tabbed interface within Acrobat Web itself, similar to what we see in the desktop version, so I could keep everything organized in one place. Another idea could be a quick “recent documents” panel that lets me jump back into a file without having to dig through my storage every time.
Overall, the Beta has been solid for me, but if Adobe added a few more features to improve multitasking, I think it could easily become my go-to for almost everything PDF related.
