    Hi Everyone,

The issue has been fixed in the latest update of Adobe Acrobat and Reader (Version: 2019.012.20036). Please update your applications to the latest version and let us know if you’re facing any issues.

For getting the latest version of the application (Adobe Acrobat or Reader DC)

    - Open the Adobe Acrobat or Reader DC application in your machine.
    – Click on the ‘Help’ menu in the application.
    – Click on ‘Check for Updates…’.
    – Update your application to the latest version and verify that the latest version is 2019.012.20036

For getting the version of the application (Adobe Acrobat or Reader DC)

    - Open the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC application in your machine.
    – Click on the ‘Help’ menu in the application.
    – Click on ‘About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC…’.

    Thanks
    Aakash, Adobe Acrobat DC Team

I think the intent of the newest Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is to leave ctrl+F open all the time. If you are working between 2 screens and click back into the FIND FIELD, it'll select all the text. The issue I have with this is the ctrl+F screen is in the PDF area blocking your PDF.
    1. add a toggle feature to allow previously entered text within the FIND FIELD to be automatically selected upon opening ctrl+F.
    2. allow the ctrl+F window to be displayed in the toolbar rather than in the PDF area.
    Thanks

That appears to solve my issue.

    Thanks

I disagree with your statement “If it highlights all instances, it would be difficult to figure out which one is selected.” If you only want to select one item, then select that one item. The whole point of selecting all instances from the advanced search list is to allow editing to all those instances at once (rather than edit one-by-one). This used to be an excellent feature for us to go into a PDF and highlight all instances of a given string from the PDF. Now it takes a long time as you need to highlight each instance one-by-one (and go through the list from the beginning each time, not from the instance you last left).

Please revert back to the old option of allowing all instances to be highlighted from the Advanced Search.

    Thanks
    Mike
