Can't select all instances of an Advanced Search (ctrl+shift+F).
When doing an advanced search (ctrl+shift+F), you used to be able to search for a string (which it still does) and select all of those instances in the PDF (no longer highlights every instance; need to do one-by-one). This was a quick & useful feature for highlighting all instances of a certain text string in a PDF drawing.

Also when all instances of an advanced search are successfully found, how to delete all?

That appears to solve my issue.
Thanks

Hi Mike,
You can still select all instance of search results. This functionality already exists. Please follow these steps:
- Search a string in advance search window
- Press Ctrl + A to select all instances
- Deselect the first row(PDF name)
- Press enterIt will select all the instances now. Please feel free to post your queries here.
Thanks. -

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Adobe Reader XII disagree with your statement “If it highlights all instances, it would be difficult to figure out which one is selected.” If you only want to select one item, then select that one item. The whole point of selecting all instances from the advanced search list is to allow editing to all those instances at once (rather than edit one-by-one). This used to be an excellent feature for us to go into a PDF and highlight all instances of a given string from the PDF. Now it takes a long time as you need to highlight each instance one-by-one (and go through the list from the beginning each time, not from the instance you last left).
Please revert back to the old option of allowing all instances to be highlighted from the Advanced Search.
Thanks

Thanks for raising this feature request. This is the as designed functionality as of now.
Whenever we search any string, it will list down all the instances of this string. And select 1 of these(next to current page).
If it highlights all instances, it would be difficult to figure out which one is selected. Also, you said this used to select all earlier. Can you please confirm in which Acrobat version you saw this feature.
We will analyze it and raise a feature request for you.Thanks.
