Hi Geoff,
You cannot move files in Home > Recent. Please switch to Files > Locations to move files.
1. Tap “Files” at the bottom tab bar.
2. Select a location (e.g. “On This iPad/iPhone”, “Document Cloud”).
3. Tap “…”.
4. Tap “Move” from the menu that pops up.
5. Select a destination folder.
6. Tap Move.Hope this helps.

An error occurred while saving the comment M commentedWhy isn't this already available? Is this intentionally hobbling ipad users? What's the benefit of doing such a thing? It certainly doesn't benefit users, so how does it benefit the corporate tion? Do the corporate managers actually think that more people will subscribe to a paid license just in the unadvertised hope that they will then have some actually useful features like reasonable navigation, settings control, etc.? If that's what you think, then you've got to be kidding.
Not quite. I'd rather have control of this feature, but currently, there are really no settings under user control, so since the bookmarks don't show up, we can't use them the way you want to, and if they just solder them onto the margin M that won't make me very happy.
