Why can't I delete a file/pdf after I'm done with it

Why can't I delete a file or a PDF after I'm done with it it's really making me upset, and clogging my phone

Why isn't there a "delete" feature when I click on the pdf file to delete it! I don't want to saevall these old files!
I am paying $9.99 a month so that I can do what I want with my files!
