Please provide the following information. You can post a new idea or search for ideas already submitted.

For a new feature request:

  1. Brief title
  2. Description of desired feature
  3. Why the feature is needed

For a new bug:

  1. Brief title
  2. Steps to reproduce the issue
  3. Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.)
  4. Expected result
  5. Observed result

  6. the Adobe pdf stopped suddenly while reading and when I reopen it mentioned it is closed abruptly and given the option to restore but when I pressed on I was not able to find my edited file aand I lost all my work in the documents and this happed twice

  7. An Undo button is needed, please. This is so common in so many platforms that I'm lazy & reliant on the undo button. Largely because like many of us, I'm overworked anD busy and that means mistake prone. It would be great to be able to undo 3x if possible. However, an Undo 1x button is urgently needed, please.   8. ******* Terrible software to use. it has caused me nothing but problems with just the smallest of task. I wish WISH I could go back in-time and stop myself from making the mistake of using this software and save myself the money and all the headaches. I have gotten from using this software. In my opinion get a different software program save yourself before its to late. Customer support won't be able to help more than telling the same thing you are tying.

  10. The Highlighter function was invaluable to my work on PDF's but it's disappeared, is not included in the list of editing tools at all. Why would you do this? Can we get it back?

    Thanks for reaching out to us. Reg the highlight tools, it's available in comments section. At the right side of PDF, there's an option "Comment". It has two sub options viz. Add Text and Add Comment . On clicking either of the options, it will take you to Add Comment page, where highlight is available at top bar to use. 


    Can you please try out and let us know, if you are refering to the same tool?

  11. Desktop Adobe Acrobat Pro shown in All Tools tab, clicking it installs CC and DC Reader, but NOT Acrobat Pro. When attempting to make any edits to a PDF, everything points back to making edits on the web, which is not what I want to do.
    Adobe, I know you love money...but make your applications possible (and even simple) to use offline, you don't need our data/documents as well as our money.

    Thanks for providing feedback. Can you please attach a screenshot for further investigating? On clicking install acrobat Pro should allow user to install Pro desktop rather reader DC.

  14. This whole thing about not being able to use DESKTOP TOTALLY SUCKS.... I DON'T HAVE A GOOD INTERNET CONNECTION AND JUST SPENDT HOURS ON A PROJECT ONLY TO HAVE IT LOST!!!!! MAYBE AUTOMATICALLY SAVE THE FILE WHILE YOU WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. PDF compress tools is not working as one would expect the fonts not showing correctly after compression.

  18. Option "Compress PDF" on https://documentcloud.adobe.com suffers significant bug that persisted with months. On several occasions when trying to upload and compress a scanned pdf I receive a message that the file is already compressed. When I try the same operation with the desktop app on the same file - it is compressed without any problem. This happens so often that it renders the online service nearly useless.

    Sorry to hear that you are facing issues with compressing a file on Web. In order to help you better, please share more info with us. Like whats the size of the file, does it have only text or images too or if possible share the file with us so that we can investigate further.

    Also, web version provide 3 different settings for compress (Low, Medium and High). Could you please confirm if the file dont compress with even High compression.

  19. Want to edit a file? - just upload one. uploaded? - just register or sign in. signed in? - just take a free trial. Get uploaded - everything froze and nothing works. Make a fair service that works!
