Bug: document blocked by sender despite owner permissions
Some documents are appearing with an error (Attached image), on a specific SharePoint Site.
Said documents are downloadable, preview-able and can open in the browser via right click -> Open in browser, but attempting to open them with adobe acrobat causes the document link to redirect to https://documentcloud.adobe.com/spodintegration/index.html?locale=en-us, Which displays the error page.
The issue is replicable and also intermittent, as some documents have inexplicably stopped displaying the error page and opened normally during troubleshooting, while other pdf documents still cause the error.
To replicate the error:
1. Open the affected Site
2. Open any PDF document
3. Page redirects to error window
I have Owner permissions for the Site and I have uploaded a test document created and owned by myself and the error still appears.
I have tried several browsers.
Opening documents in desktop app for adobe acrobat works fine
Running a network inspection on the web page shows a 404 error being generated by Microsoft Graph, (Second attachment). Not sure if this helps.
