This bug is still in the software, for 1.5 years.

This bug is still in the current DC:2019 version.
After opening a PDF (any PDF), it hangs for 1.5 - 2.0 minutes before the UI is restored and becomes usable.
During the hang, sometimes you can scroll within the document, but none of the left or right panels can be accessed. (Not Responding) appears in the title bar.
It's been almost 2 years. FIX THIS *&^%$ bug!

Having the same issue. Every time I try to save as new PDF (even with new filename), I get this error. I tried to export to .ps, but this gives a different error about annotation objects. I cannot believe that Adobe Acrobat and the PDF format remains the standard document format of the world. This needs to change.
