An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBhawna Arora (Admin, Adobe) commentedHi Jonathan,
We appreciate your valuable feedback! We're always looking for ways to make Acrobat better, and we appreciate the time and effort you have taken to share your feedback with us.
We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive & get more out of Acrobat. With the new interface we aim to
1. Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document.
2. Easily allow users to discover PDF tools they need by ensuring tools are intuitively grouped and a click away,
a. For example, all tools that allow content, page & file level edits can be found under one action-based verb called “Edit”; tools that allow converting files to & from PDFs can be found under “Convert”; tools that allow filling & signing documents or requesting signatures from others under “Sign”.
3. Most importantly, the new interface enables users to effortlessly move between different PDF tools to complete their document related tasks
a. For example, someone viewing comments in a PDF should also be able to easily edit the text of it without interrupting their workflow
b. A user can seamlessly perform page level edits such as reordering, inserting, extracting, rotating or deleting pages while editing content and/or commenting on the file
We would also like to highlight that we have exhaustively tested these changes with users over the past 12 months, keenly monitoring user behaviour & addressing top user issues before gradually rolling out the new interface to the Acrobat user base.
A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have tried to ensure all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are committed to address any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows in all our past & upcoming releases. In case any of your current workflows are not functioning as expected, do share it with us on this thread, and we will address them with the highest priority..
In case any of your critical workflows are impacted, and you have the option to switch back to the old UI from the “Menu” on the top left corner on windows, and View Menu on MacOS.
We will follow up on this response with a detailed blog post explaining the changes, a guide to help familiarise you to the new interface, along with regular updates on upcoming changes.
Thank you once again for your feedback, and do look forward to our upcoming releases !

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBhawna Arora (Admin, Adobe) commentedHi Muhammad,
Thanks for writing to us. Can you please share if the preference 'last view settings when reopening documents' is ON under 'Documents' categories?
If not, please check this preference and relaunch the Acrobat.
Default zoom and page view settings will be retained once this preference is made ON.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBhawna Arora (Admin, Adobe) commentedHi @Matthys,
Above stated issue is known to us in case of Full screen mode of Acrobat and we are working on the fix which caused with the latest upgradation of Mac OS.
Until we resolve this in forthcoming releases, as a workaround you may prefer to choose "Never" for 'auto hide & show the Menu bar', as of now. In this case, you won't be blocked.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBhawna Arora (Admin, Adobe) commentedHi Mcgregor.
Thanks fo reaching out to us.
Regarding Pan tool, I believe you might be double tapping on the screen/double clicking on the screen which enables Acrobat to identify that you are actually trying to make a selection. For Pan tool, please notice that it has to be single tap swipe or single touch click.
For text boxes, please let us know you system configurations to debug this further. Also, please mention the workflow.

I believe you are trying to rotate the pages from search toolbar, which asks you to upgrade to Premium. While you can do it for free from the RIght hand trail(refer screenshot for quick reference).
You can rotate the pages clockwise or anticlockwise accrodingly.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBhawna Arora (Admin, Adobe) commentedHi Kiri,
We are hearing your concern, just to make a statement here that we have made the Quick tool bar floating, now you can place the toolbar anywhere in the document area(using the top bar in the Quick toolbar, Hold it long and drop it)
Also, to retain the positioning of quick toolbar, across all the documents, check the preference > Documents > Restore last view settings when reopening the documents.
Hope that helps.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminBhawna Arora (Admin, Adobe) commentedHi Rik T,
Thanks for your invaluable feedback. We regret for the inconvenience caused.
Though, to note here is New acrobat has all menu items aligned in Left hand panel and similar pattern is being followed for Measure tool too.
For your quick solution, we have a workaround which might help you. You can customize your Quick tools and add Measure tool in the same. Please refer to the attachment for quick reference.
Also, you can quickly access shapes for access from the Quick tool bar.
Hope that helps.

Hi @bhaze,
Thanks for writing to us.
We suggest you change your default viewer application to Acrobat to see option 'Open in Acrobat'. Also, the selection migh include non PDF files as well for which Acrobat suggests option 'Combine files'.
In case, it still doesn't work out for you, kindly reach back to us with complete screenshot of your file selection window.
Thanks,
Bhawna.
