I can reproduce this on the latest version too. The phantom guide lines flicker in the ruler area whenever the cursor moves near it, which makes precise placement tricky. Would be great to see a fix for this — it is especially noticeable on large documents with multiple elements.

Completely agree with this feedback. The AI overlay makes the interface feel cluttered and slows down my workflow. Having an option to fully hide or disable it would be a significant improvement for users who just need the core PDF tools.

Reproducible on version 25.x as well. The /n argument opens each PDF in a new Acrobat process, and with multiple files the memory handles are not released correctly causing the freeze. A workaround is to open files sequentially instead. Upvoted this report.

This is a known compatibility issue after recent updates. A temporary workaround is to download the previous version directly from Adobe's release page and disable automatic updates until a fix is pushed. Hope Adobe addresses this soon since many enterprise environments still rely on Windows 7.
