Phantom lines in ruler when moving cursor
Moving my cursor throughout the document leaves phantom lines in the rulers. This seems to have begun with recent app upgrade (current version: 2026.001.21367 64-bit). See 3 photos attached: one with no movement, one with movement down & right, one with movement down/right/up/left. The phantom lines obscure the ruler measurements. This appears to be a bug in the app. Older versions do not present the issue, but I am unable to downgrade.

We use these rulers all day, a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Adding my name to the list of impacted users. The rulers are useless now.

This is awful. I use the rulers for forms and this is stopping my work.

Can confirm the same issues on Windows 11 machines. Documentation submitted to support.

I am having the same issue...
Couple days ago (today's date 04/03/2026), my Acrobat Pro started creating weird lines withing the ruler when I move the mouse over the document. The more I move over the document, the more lines, until they completely saturate the ruler beyond recognition. I uninstall Acrobat Pro through the Creative Cloud Desktop and reinstalled; and it was working fine for a couple documents but has now returned. I do not have grid lines enabled, any ideas…?
I have included 3 pictures…
First picture is when I open the document, everything is normal.
Second picture, just a quick movement of the mouse over the document, weird lines are starting to appear on the ruler.
Third picture, continuing to move the mouse over the document (no clicking, just scrolling) and it completely saturates the ruler beyond recognition.
