An error occurred while saving the comment Eddie Deighton commentedThis makes total sense. The current iteration is awful, with vague, nondescript icons that I have to roll over to work out what they’re actually for. The separate Tool tab is pointless. Tabs are for accessing open projects, not for clicking on for your Tools.

An error occurred while saving the comment Eddie Deighton commentedThey should change the tagline to, "Our input. Your Acrobat DC."
An error occurred while saving the comment Eddie Deighton commentedChange the UI and palettes to make them more visually congruous with existing software like Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Adobe DC layout is terrible! It's like the DC UI design team have never seen another Adobe product interface before and have based their solution on Microsoft Word. Awful. It puts me off using it every time I open it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Eddie Deighton commentedThanks, Arpit.
I understand how I can make DC better to use now. It would make a lot more sense if this was clearer when you first install - maybe a 'classic' or 'default' mode? Or a porting of preferences? The customisation of tools is very vague and probably extremely underused. It would have certainly saved me a lot of cursing and avoiding using the software over the last year or so. If Pro was still working well on my machine I would still be using that and ignoring DC. It was only out of necessity I switched and felt the need to contact you.Hoping this helps me settle in with the application now.
Regards

Over a year since this thread was posted and still no official response from Adobe, yet they continue to update with the latest interface, so I’m still keeping with the ‘classic’ version. Does this feedback get sent to the decision-makers or are the GUI design team hiding it for fear of not being able to justify their hard work? They’re probably too busy thinking about how to cram the latest unnecessary e-signature tools and real-world document collaboration in than bother about an industry that uses it for practical print production and presentations. Who are they surveying for these new ideas and layout? It’s shocking. There is such a detachment with what I need for my industry now, and no GUI consistency with the rest of the Creative Cloud apps. What is going on in this team's heads that prompts them to continue down this current path?
