I HATE the latest Adobe Acrobat
If it ain't broke why "fix" it? The latest Adobe Acrobat is horrendous re: changes to the interface and functionality. Basic things like zoom function, where to access tools, or go to the next page have changed - why?! You're making people who have used Acrobat for years CHANGE the way they work, breaking workflow. It's slow to load and do most actions and hard to find things. I HATE it when Adobe moves things around like this. Please stop making arbitrary changes that break workflow for regular users.

I cannot disagree more with this version of Acrobat being "intuitive". I know this is an old post, but it stands true to this day. This version of Acrobat is so unbelievably bad.
The "Find text or tools" tool is a great idea; however, so poorly executed. You have to search for the specific Adobe term for their tool otherwise you're not going to find what you're looking for. Often times when you know the Adobe specific term for the tool that they have historically used on all other versions of their application, you STILL can't find what you're looking for. This is extremely disappointing when Acrobat has become the standard .PDF reader/editor, and now Adobe is essentially forcing people to find another option because they've made a product that is so incredibly hard to use. The world would have benefitted from Adobe just leaving well enough alone in regards to Acrobat.

Hi, Your insightful comment is really appreciated! We're always looking for ways to improve Acrobat, so we value the time and effort you took to provide us with your comment.
The navigation tools for PDFs have all been gathered and placed to the right. These tools were arranged specifically for each platform, whether desktop, mobile, tablet, or mobile, making sure that the tool layout remained intuitive, optimized, and purposeful regardless of where the user was on Acrobat.
We are proactively addressing the performance issues in upcoming releases.
Following up on this response, we will write a thorough blog post outlining the changes, provide you with a guide to assist you and get used to the new interface.
