    PDFs aren't made to be extensively edited and this is a feature, not a mistake. I'm a professional designer and like the fact that my PDFs can't be edited easily. I also use the Files > Properties > Security tab to further prevent anyone making changes. I can see how some people want to be able to change a PDF to their hearts content, but, sorry folks, I hope fully featured editing does not ever become possible.

    An easy option is to export the PDF to Microsoft Word in Acrobat and then you can change things to your hearts content and make a new PDF.
