@Riya Saxena Thank you for the workaround of adding text such as 'Add space' in an Insert Text comment, but this does not help in a workflow where the corrections are being imported into InDesign using the Import PDF Comments tool.
In the InDesign Import PDF Comments tool, text in the comments of an Insert Text markup is automatically added to the text of the document in InDesign, at the indicated location, and the user is given the option to apply that correction with a button press.
Under the proposed workaround, pressing the Accept button in this case would insert the text 'Add space', rather than efficiently adding a space.
Please allow us to add a space or paragraph return directly in the comments of the Insert Text tool so we can efficiently implement the change in Indesign using the Import Comments workflow.
Similarly, trailing spaces should not be stripped from Insert Text comments. In an Import Comments workflow they may be deliberate, if a word is added between two other words, to ensure that the spacing of the new word is correct.
