!!BUG!! Editing lost when opening a file in browser
Reproduction steps:
1) Open a PDF file in your android acrobat reader
2) Comment it
3) Leave your file open in background (for instance, by pressing home button)
4) Seek some information required for commenting
5) Click a link
6) Realize that it opens a PDF in the Acrobat Reader
7) Pray your comment will still be there when opening the PDF you were commenting, as Acrobat Reader is known to save the comments when closing files
8) get disappointed. An hour or two of your work was lost.
9) Enter a bug report and pray it gets answered ASAP.…13 votes -
Need of eraser mode
Eraser mode is highly needed as it is total impractical to spam the undo button all the way to the point where we need to erase something plus the text "text is undone stays there for an absudly long time ruining the experience.

Page number shows after turning on screen [Reading mode]
When in Reading Mode if I turn off the screen and turn it back on again the page number tab is there and I have to touch the menu off and on to get rid of it.

After lost device, or unfortunately deleted app

There is no clearation of data when we uninstall the app after re-installing of app all data is back.

Please improve the voice reader
Using Adobe 22.8.1.23587 for Android a Samsung A40.
I use the voice reader a lot, as it is allows me to multi task and read or skim read long documents.
But, the voice reader (she) is not ideal.
She is incapable of reading text in boxes in a way that acknowledges the correct order (I appreciate that this is a pretty advanced expectation).
She often mispronounces correctly spelt words. Including saying the names of punctuation marks that are part of words.
Not saying lists properly, including noticing the difference between A) & '... a ...'.

Alot of students use the app, why not have a feature where we can select certain parts of the text to be the front face of flash cards and the same for the back

Please add read aloud option along with liquid mode.
In mobile devices we naturally open pdf in liquid mode view. But then clicking read aloud it goes back to original layout that's so bad.. Disable/add pref. for default file-based screen rotate introduced at the end of october 2018
Last October 2018 updates introduced a dreadful "optimization" that cannot be disabled for now : rotating display automatically for some pdf.
When opening a file, I get a message "Switching orientation for a better reading experience" (or "Changement d'orientation pour une meilleure expérience de lecture" in french).
Now for most of the files, I have to either to disable auto-rotate in android prefs (to lock portait mode), or rotate the phone for 10-15 seconds to go back to portrait, until the app finally "agrees" to rotate. This is a pain to work around this "feature", and makes my experience much…

!!BUG!! Conflicted Copy
I read and annotate my PDFs located in my Dropbox. After leaving the PDF, the Adobe app automatically uploads (replaces) the entire file to Dropbox. Great!
The problem: Sometimes I get a Conflicted Copy. That basically means that it cannot replace the file because it's being open in a different program, so Dropbox preserves the both files and renames the newest one Conflicted Copy while retaining the original as it was.
The suspected cause is quite obvious. The file isn't open in another program but in the very same one that wants to make the change. The PDF is around…

Idea
Through the desktop software I have synchronised my Box account to my Acrobat account
However when I use my Android or iOS app it shows me option only to retrieve files from Dropbox.
I think it is important to add a link to the app so that we can access files saved on box as well13 votes
