Adobe Reader should be integrated with Microsoft Edge Chromium like with Internet Explorer
Any chance that Adobe Reader will be integrated with Microsoft Edge Chromium in a similar way Adobe Reader is integrated with Internet Explorer 11 via ActiveX? Users opening pdf in IE are not even aware they see Adobe with plenty of features. ActiveX is legacy technology and not supported by modern browsers but maybe Adobe plans some deeper integration with Microsoft? I'm working in corporate environment with 70 housand users and received feedback that Microsoft Edge built-in pdf reader cannot open many pdf-s created in Adobe products. So in Edge browser there is option to redirect PDF to Adobe reader by downloading pdf and opening it. This leads to additional step and extremely bad user experience of clicking pdf in one application that after few seconds is opened in another application. Users want's the 'Old way of IE'.I've been pointed by Microsoft that this capability it's a question to Adobe not Microsoft.
