Annoying fact that it does not save the viewing options. Like: I wish to have single page view with scrolling and bookmarks and fit to width. Each time I open the reader I have to set those again... If it could "remember" the latest viewing settings it would be just wonderful.

grouping
Right now the different tabs opened simultaneously in the Adobe reader feels scattered and inconvinient when working on different tasks simulneously. If a feature is introduced to group tabs and give names for each groups, it would enhance the experience and contribute in working with ease.

Open several Dokuments at once.
Last opened documents: Several last opened documents can be selected for deletion, but there should be an option to open them all together. As of now, only one document can be opened by double-clicking it.

Accessibility
In order for people with disabilities to be able to read documents that are scanned / images, consider having a disability feature that can be engaged in the standard version. It would be amazing for those of us who can't afford pro and don't need it for any other reason than that. Not being able to use text to speech or even highlight text means many of us have an extremely difficult time or can't read the documents at all without this feature.

Scroll Bar Disappears or often never appears... Fading away forever?
Summary: The vertical scrollbar indicator no longer appears in any PDF, even when “Enable Scrolling” is turned on and Windows 11 is set to “Always Show Scrollbars.”
Details:
I'm using Acrobat Reader version 2025.001.20531 on Windows 11. Since updating, the scrollbar is missing in all PDFs, even in "Enable Scrolling" mode with 100% zoom and light theme. This issue breaks usability:I cannot quickly drag to navigate.
I cannot tell where I am in the document while quick scrolling.
The middle mouse button allows fast scrolling, but with no scrollbar, I lose orientation.
“Touch Mode” is not available in this…

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC free version needs to remove all of the features that require an upgrade to a paid version. It's maddening to try to navigate your UI with an overwhelming number of features pitching you an upgrade. If I wanted to upgrade, I would. Your toolbars on the left and right crowd out the document and make it almost impossible to see a full page on half of a 15.6" laptop screen. Please, please, please stop pushing products on those of us who just need your free version.

Pop-Ups Every Time It Starts
Every time I start Adobe to read a document there is a pop-up showing some feature I don't need or want. It is INTENSELY annoying. If I want to learn about new features, provide me a place to do so but don't make the software pop-up something irrelevant when I need to get work done.

there is no way to submit feedback
came here because filename that appears in the tab in Adobe Acrobat 32-bit is different from actual filename, and online says maybe metadata, and unable to find anyuthing about that issue for others or a fix, and during that time trying to submit a bug it calls it ideas and wants me to give up on reporting a bug - takes away bug reporting options as soon as i give my 'bug ' a title - so try to submit feedback through link that says give feedback through acrobat dc but it just takes you back to searching irrelevant 'ideas'…

Button "Save as"
When opening a PDF in Adobe Reader and immediately clicking on File > Save As, the option is greyed out. Only after clicking on another menu item and returning to File does the Save As option become available. This behavior is consistent and reproducible. It appears to be a UI initialization issue.

Bug Report Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 2025.001.20435 64 bit Windows 11
I have created a PDF document by exporting it from a DOCX file. The document contains 23 links but only one of them works. Hovering over each of the 23 links produces a pop-up that displays the link however, clicking on the link produces no result (except for one of the links). If I open the document in a web browser, the links work as expected.

Disable "View Summary"
How can the following message be permanently disabled?
"This appears to be a long document. Save time by reading a summary. View Summary"
I already ticked "Don't show messages while viewing a document" in Preferences -> General, but it ignores this.
I am losing productivity because this message shifts the chart data each time.
Adobe CANNOT GENERATE A SUMMARY OF 28 PAGES OF CHARTS! Adobe Acrobat Reader 2025.001.20474 is too stupid to detect that there is no free text in these pages ... only 2-axis charts created from LaTeX using TikZ.

Bookmarks Don't Scroll with Mouse Wheel
In the Bookmarks pane, the mouse wheel does not scroll like it should (and used to). Windows 10 and Windows 11 machines are affected, with both Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

BUG - URL Clicking Not Working
The "Create Links from URL" doesn't seem to be working properly in the latest version of Acrobat Reader x64 (20474). Windows 11 x64
Text URLs are read correctly when you hover over them, but you cannot click on them any longer to launch the URL in a browser. If you copy and paste the URL, the end few characters of the URL is missing when pasted.1 vote
