  1. [Shift + mouse wheel down/up] should scroll pages faster than regular. Add adjustment slider for selecting faster speed in settings.

Also, [CTRL + shift + mouse wheel down/up] should zoom in and out faster.

This should needs to be added to all applications.

  2. Scrolling a document should as smooth as scrolling a webpage in any browser on Windows. Or should at least work as the Mac counterpart

  3. When in "Zoom to Page Level" view the Page Down and Page Up must go exactly one page. Currently in Adobe Reader 2023.001.20143 it is roughly 97% of page height. It was good in Adobe Reader XI.

  5. hide the "all tools" toolbar by default. this toolbar is only needed sometimes. this feature is enabled for the exception instead of the rule. since it takes up one-third of the display window and is on the left, it is distracting. when it was on the right, it wasn't as distracting. when viewing many pdfs over the course of the day, having to give up one third of the screen to a useless toolbar is frustrating.

  6. Recently was editing a document in the "new" adobe reader and was incredibly frustrated that I couldn't find basic buttons like "undo" or "scroll view" or whatever I need to select some text and delete the highlighting. VERY frustrating.

  7. Sometimes after 2021, the 2nd row of toolbars were removed and seemingly replaced by QuickTools. However QuickTools, albeit it's name, is less proficient than having the second row of tools available, in sight, and ready to be clicked.

Specifically, all I'm asking for is to bring back what was taken away just so that its inclusion can be set by the user. Personally, I'm on the side of a person who uses Adobe Acrobat Pro to edit documents and find that for the number of tools I use often, they're not as quickly accessible when having to click on a…

  9. In german version of Acrobat Reader, Version 2023.001.20143, but also in many earlier version, when opening the recent file dialog with "File -> Show all recent files" (in German: "Datei -> Alle zuletzt verwendeten Dateien anzeigen...") and selecting the check buttons of 2 or more files, a small sub-dialog opens on the right (as shown in the attached image). It says there "Offen" for "Open", but this is the imperative form of the verb, which must be "Öffnen" in German.

  10. Open two pdf files.
While viewing the second pdf file, click on Window->New Window to request the second pdf be opened in it's own separate window.
Now viewing the second, separate window causes both Acrobat Reader windows to crash and the app closes off. version shown in the image saved
This used to work without any issues in previous versions of AR, being able to see different pdfs in separate windows.

  12. When cropping a pdf in Adobe Acrobat Pro you can hover over the "crop" option and a yellow window appears. There it says "Buschneiden" which is not correct. Maybe you wanted to say "Beschneiden" or "Zuschneiden", which would both be correct. Just wanted to point it out! Thanks :)

  14. PDFs are used often as presentations in place of PowerPoints, however there is no presenter view. Presenters have to awkwardly drag the window to an extended display or mirror their display to the projector. This affects 10's of thousands of presenters annually (at least).

Solution give us a presenter view. Or at least give us the option to display on secondary display by default (current display options don't work).

  16. Version 2023.001.20064 64-bit Windows 10.

Copying text from a document that's opened in protected mode causes an error box to appear with "Bad parameter". The OK button on the box needs to be clicked to make the box go away. The copied text still appears on the Windows clipboard as expected.

I found a post on the forums describing this bug dating from 2018 - that's five years ago: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/acrobat-reader-dc-quot-bad-parameter-quot-when-trying-to-copy-text/td-p/10136457

  17. Environment
    Windows10 or 11 (Japanese)

The "type" of PDF file in the popup that appears when the cursor is moved over the file in Explorer is missing the "Acroba書類" with a "t". This is very weird and needs to be fixed.

    Steps to reproduce the issue

    1. save the PDF file in Explorer or on the desktop
    2. Move the mouse pointer over the PDF file icon.
    3. A pop-up window opens and shows various information, but the "Type" item is "Acroba書類".

    Expected result
AcrobatReader" is displayed as "Acrobat書類" as well as Acrobat Pro.

    Observed result
On a PC with only Acrobat Reader…

  18. Identical to the mobile app, please provide the Night mode. Existing accessibility option to replace colors is not the same. I see this has been asked for years. Such a simple feature, I'm a developer if you let me sign an NDA and work on this I'll do it for free. Why can't I use my Surface to read books at night like I do with my iPad?

  19. Set Page number for PDF thumbnail preview.

Adobe PDF thumbnails in windows explorer preview the first page of a PDF. Can this be adapted so a particular page of the document is the thumbnail preview rather than page 1. Could this be done whilst creating the PDF? forexample in indesign when exporting the file.

  20. The function of the "Enable Scrolling" button is exactly parallel to the function of the "Two Page Scrolling" menu option, so why not call it "Single Page Scrolling"?

I always assumed that "Enable Scrolling" changes whichever view you are in (single or two-page) to scrolling in that same view (whereas "Two Page Scrolling" changes the view and toggles scrolling at the same time.) But "Enable Scrolling" does change the view to single-page as it toggles scrolling on. So I don't have to click "Single Page View" and then click "Enable Scrolling" when the "Enable Scrolling" button does both. Labeling it…
