  1. Adobe Reader Extension

    Hi Team,

We are designing Dynamic Forms using adobe LiveCycle Designer which fetch the data from server - az18w1445 (where we have stored .xls files about users information).
To Fetch the data from the required server we used to access the site - http://ie3bvwitss347:8080/ReaderExtensions/Welcome?ap=1which is dependent on flash. Can't we access the adobe reader extension without flash. Do we have any aletrnative to fetch and automatically fill the the data into forms.

  2. Radiobutton checked value bug: works in all pdf viewers except Acrobat Reader.

"Checked" radiobutton value is only working in Acrobat Reader when:

    — First radio button value is "0".
    — Radio button values are consecutive integers.

https://github.com/danfickle/openhtmltopdf/issues/547 — here I spent several hours to identify this issue.

Here is this post with the layout — https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/radiobutton-checked-value-bug-works-in-all-pdf-viewers-except-acrobat-reader/m-p/11410081?page=1#M70273

    Result pdf:

Displays in different viewers: see file attachments.

  6. Print selected pages repeatedly

Imagine a PDF with 2 pages. I want to print the 1st page 1 x, the 2nd page 2 times. Of course I can just click on "Actual" and print page 1, then browse to the 2nd page, increase the number of copies, click on "Actual" again and print the 2nd page twice.

But I would like to enter "1,2,2" into the pages input field. In fact, the preview then even shows three pages (1, 2, 2) and I can start printing. But then I get an error alert and not a single page of the entered ones is being…

  7. Issue with Adobe reader in Originate loans (DLO- Fiserv)

Originate loans (OL) is a .Net based Digital loan origination solution suite
The software uses active PDF documents for form generation on loan applications
The editable PDF documents containing mapped PDF fields are uploaded into the software and these documents (forms) are populated with loan application data from the software.
The filled forms are stored in DB in encoded varbinary format.
The application UI presents links to each document on a loan app.
On clicking this link, the document is opened in a PDF viewer. (varbinary stream is decoded and response is flushed by the app to IE PDF viewer) …

  8. Adobe's default line spacing is set to 1.20, which is uncommon in documents. Change default to Single spacing 1.0 atleast make it an option!

Adobe's default line spacing is set to 1.20, which is uncommon in documents. Change default to Single spacing 1.0 or at least make it an option! This would be much more helpful instead of having to change it EVERY time I type a document which is so irritating and takes up a lot of valuable time. Please update the software so that the user can select the DEFAULT line spacing.

  9. Possible Bug: with Libre Office Writer 6.3 and later created Forms dont work properly

In a 2 page form the Textboxes and Options dont work when filling out with the current version of Acrobat Reader DC.
The Problem only occurs with forms created with Libre Office 6.3 and later versions.
The problem only occurs in Acrobat Reader.
Edge and Chrome can open and fill the form properly.

The issue is either a Reader or a Writer issue, therefore a possible Bug was reported there as well: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134813

Attached is a not properly working form

  10. An Error Occurred During The Submit Process

As of the latest update (2020.009.20065), when a user clicks on the submit button in a form it asks for their login credentials and after they receive an error. In prior versions of Reader DC, a user would put in their credentials and the form would be submitted. Now, after update 20065, the user puts in their credentials they get the following error message. "An error occurred during the submit process. Authorization is required for this network service" and the form is not submitted.

  11. Error printing form or second page blank

Filled PDF form cannot be printed on most systems, on some systems the second page prints blank.
Works fine when using Edge or Chrome as PDF viewer. This is on Windows 10 and 8

  14. The font changes automatically by filling in the forms and using Polish diacritics

    Reporting a new bug:

    Steps to reproduce the issue:

-> Open the document / form
-> Use the "Fill & Sign" tool
    -> Enter any text using Polish diacritics, e.g. Ą, ą, Ć, ć, Ś, ś, Ż, ż, Ź, ź etc.

    Environment:

    -> OS: Windows 10 Pro 1909 (18363.719)
-> Adobe Acrobar Reader DC Version: Polish (20.006.20034)

    Expected result:

-> Forms should have a continuous homogeneous formatting. Unfortunately, even different fonts appear in one and the same field. Surprisingly, this problem does not concern German diacritics.

    Observed result:

-> When filling out the forms, we should ensure that the text…

  15. ctrl + del and ctrl + backspace on fillable forms do the same thing

When filling in boxes on a pdf, ctrl+del and ctrl+backspace do the same thing. Ctrl+backspace should delete the previous word, but it deletes the next word instead. In other places, ctrl+backspace functions properly.
