I get tired of Adobe Acrobat Reader pushing me to buy a subscription to something. I also don't like that it leaves a big window open even after I close all the documents I'm looking at. Printing doesn't work like normal Mac apps. And on my work laptop, there seems to be a security update every few days. What is so fragile with it that it needs to be updated that often? Mac "Preview" displays PDF files just fine, and rarely updates. This was all annoying enough to me that uninstalled it from my Mac, and now PDF files open just fine, print fine, go away when I close them, and I don't get distracted with upselling or updates. I do love how PDF files make sharing documents so nice. The reader is just a bit pushy and annoying.
