Hi Phillipe,
We agree that acrobat has undergone a considerable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive & get more out of Acrobat. With the new interface we aim to
1. Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document.
2. Easily allow users to discover PDF tools they need by ensuring tools are intuitively grouped and a click away,
a. For example, all tools that allow content, page & file level edits can be found under one action-based verb called “Edit”; tools that allow converting files to & from PDFs can be found under “Convert”; tools that allow filling & signing documents or requesting signatures from others under “Sign”.
3. Most importantly, the new interface enables users to effortlessly move between different PDF tools to complete their document related tasks
a. For example, someone viewing comments in a PDF should also be able to easily edit the text of it without interrupting their workflow
b. A user can seamlessly perform page level edits such as reordering, inserting, extracting, rotating or deleting pages while editing content and/or commenting on the file.
#2 - Can you please share the build for the acrobat where crash happened. If possible, please attach dump files to analyse the crash.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for writing down to us! I believe you are using Reader, which shows Tools pane on Left side and Naviagtion trail on right side.
To maximise the reading space, you can close the All Tool pane.
Alternatively, you can use Cmd or Ctrl+H to go to reading view of Reader.

We appreciate your valuable feedback! We're always looking for ways to make Acrobat better, and we appreciate the time and effort you have taken to share your feedback with us.
We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive & get more out of Acrobat. With the new interface we aim to

b. A user can seamlessly perform page level edits such as reordering, inserting, extracting, rotating or deleting pages while editing content and/or commenting on the file
We would also like to highlight that we have exhaustively tested these changes with users over the past 12 months, keenly monitoring user behaviour & addressing top user issues before gradually rolling out the new interface to the Acrobat user base.
A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have tried to ensure all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are committed to address any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows in all our past & upcoming releases. In case any of your current workflows are not functioning as expected, do share it with us on this thread, and we will address them with the highest priority..
In case any of your critical workflows are impacted, and you have the option to switch back to the old UI from the “Menu” on the top left corner on windows, and View Menu on MacOS.
We will follow up on this response with a detailed blog post explaining the changes, a guide to help familiarise you to the new interface, along with regular updates on upcoming changes.
Thank you once again for your feedback, and do look forward to our upcoming releases !

Hi Traci,
Thanks for writing to us, this should not be an issue. Can you please share if this issue is happening for all the files/any specific file?
Also, please right click on your doucment and go to Document properties, there you can find the title of the file.
In case you are resaving the file, the file name should be same as title, in case of Save as, you can use the file name of your choice.
To debug the issue futher please share any supported files.

Hi Shannon,
Thanks for your query.
You can combine the files by first selecting the files you want to combine, either with option - "Add Open Files" and "Add Files".Add Open Files: It will combine all the files that are opened, make sure there is no file with any kind of protection on it.
On selecting eligible files, you will be able to see "Combine" CTA in active state and you can proceed with combining the files.

Hi Mary,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
Agreed that on opening multiple files, there is not enough room in the top bar for dragging the windown.
We have already taken a note for the same and raised it to the concerned team.
Meanwhile, you can utilize the space attached in the screenshot for your purpose, or you can minimize the size of acrobat from Menu > View > Display Size > Standard/Small.Also, we have taken the suggestion to swap positioning of X and * in the tab.

Hi Truflow,
Please update to latest version of acrobat from Help > Check for updates.
In latest version of acrobat you will be able to see the count of word on pressing Ctrl+F or Cmd+F and then pressing Next.
You will be able to see counts like 1/2, 2 denotes total number of occurrences.
Attaching screenshot for reference.

Hi Dennis,
We apologize for the issue you faced!
This might be due to some garbage file created in the kernel/OS. Please update if you still getting the crash upon launching acrobat.
In case of consistent crash, please clean the acrobat via Acrobat cleaner and reinstall again.
https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html
You can dowload cleaner for both Windows and Macintosh from the same link.
Best,
Bhawna.
Hi Karolina,
We resonate with the problem you face, however we are glad to announce that we have taken this issue on priority and fixing it up in near coming weeks.
Kindly be in touch and anticipate our future releases.
