Thank you, exactly what I was thinking and why I came here. You can't even see what program is running. Guess, sure but not just see. Just because of that I immediately switched back to the original style. I very much hope they are not going to force that nonsense on us.

Hi Joel,
we appreciate the time and effort you have taken to share your feedback with us.
We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive & get more out of Acrobat.
Display tools can be found from All tools pane in Leht hand panel.
For ease of accessing quick tools, we have introduced quick tool bar.
Meta data tools/other tools can be found in Right hand trail.
We will follow up on this response with a detailed blog post explaining the changes, a guide to help familiarise you to the new interface, along with regular updates on upcoming changes.
Thank you once again for your feedback, and do look forward to our upcoming releases !
-Bhawna.

If you go to file I believe there is an option to not use new acrobat.

I cannot comprehend why companies continuously update their UI's for something less intuitive and difficult to use.
I added an arrow, I could not change the size of the arrow. The options for line width would not pop up. On top of that once I clicked out of the arrow I could not select it again without going through the menu and clicking the arrow icon again.
Some objects I am not able to delete with the delete key. I have to physically click the trash icon. It takes more clicks and steps to do the same thing I used.

I got on here to post the same. Very frustrating and productivity sucking. Once again today, tried to use the OCR function and it's not working. What in heaven's name was wrong with the previous user interface????
