    Liquid mode is just a Scramble of document. Not at all required. Dark mode with white text & black screen will put strain on eyes. Reducing blue rays which are harmful to eyes in the dark is essential. Therefore I feel pale yellow color (with adjustable darkness of yellow tint) screen which is commonly used be made available.
