Disable AI on Mobile
On the mobile app, the AI assistant button takes up an inordinately large amount of space on the screen and cannot be disabled, even though I do not and will never use it.
Please add an option to remove it.

Disabling AI on mobile devices typically refers to turning off or limiting the use of artificial intelligence features integrated into the phone's operating system or apps. This can include features like voice assistants (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant), predictive text, or AI-driven battery optimization. Disabling AI can enhance privacy, save battery life, and reduce unnecessary background processes, but it may also limit some of the phone's advanced functionalities. Users can usually adjust these settings in the device’s privacy or accessibility options. You missed the point. If we can't avoid AI, then at least move the icon to the tray at the bottom so it's not obscuring parts of the document I'm trying to read

Many users are becoming concerned about how much data their phones are collecting. By disabling certain AI features, users can regain more control over their information. However, even with AI disabled, it's important to remain vigilant against other risks, such as bluesnarfing, which is an attack where hackers gain unauthorized access to a device via Bluetooth. Learn more about it at https://moonlock.com/bluesnarfing protecting your mobile from all potential threats should be a top priority.

I will not use the Voice option. I'm old school and elderly, it will only confuse me.

I completely agree with you! The AI assistant button does take up a lot of screen space, and it’s frustrating that there’s no option to disable it if you're not using it. Hopefully, Adobe will add that feature soon. In the meantime, you might want to check out the Meitu AI app for scanning documents. It’s a great alternative with a much cleaner interface, and it could save you some hassle while we wait for an update!

The AI Assistant can't even be used on documents larger than 200 pages. I'm trying to read my textbook but that button is always in the corner and is entirely useless.
Why is it there? -

Who needs ai crammed in their face to help them read a document!? How out of touch can you possibly be?
Personally, I am uninstalling and going to a developer that considers usability of their apps instead of focusing on trendy tech that doesn't even work. -

The mobile screen is small enough as it is, the intrusion of the floating button is intolerable.
As the disclaimer says AI may provide false or misleading information. Here is the thing, I just don't need or want it.

It feels more like an advertising actually. Like they make the button intentionally large so to force you into paying for this feature. And it is as annoying as adds on websites.

I think it's pretty sad that they prioritize this trendy technology with niche applications over the usability of their software. By placing the AI button as a floating icon in the bottom right, they seem to imply it's more important than any other function of Acrobat.

The intrusion of plagiarism-enabling Gen AI into applications without consent is a plague. Already ruining search engines - it just makes up information.
