We have moved the zoom option to magnifier icon with plus sign.
In case you want to user the previous version of Zoom icons you would need to move to tabbed mode.Let me know if you need any further info.

Here are the steps to shown to navigation pane by default -
1. Open a PDF
2. Right click on the leftmost column
3. There would be option to pin the navigation bar
4. Click on the Pin option
5. Your navigation panel should come up by default on opening the PDFLet me know if you need any further info.

Would advise you to move to the latest DC version, in you still see the issue try the setting mentioned here-https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Windows/FeatureLockdown.html
In this wiki use the key bToggleFTE as mentioned.Let me know if you need any further information.

To get the tool in Right hand panel permanently, follow these steps -
1. Open Acrobat
2. Click on Tools Tab
3. In the tool center opened search for Accessibility
4. Click on Add
5. Now your tool should be shown in the Right hand panelLet me know if you need any further information.

We can set the initial view setting for the PDF in which you can specify that in the navigation pane the panel you want to open when the PDF is opened.Here are the steps to do so -
1. Open a PDF
2. Hit CTRL+D in win/ CMD+D in mac to open document properties
3. Goto initial view settings.
4. Under Layout and Magnification
5. Set the Navigation Tab to what you want.Let me know if you need any further info.

You can right click on the toolbar (where Zoom icons are shown) right click on it and click on show quick tools and show recently used tools.You can further customize tools in quick tools as you need.

2. Hit CTRL+D on win / CMD+D on mac
3. Goto initial view tab

You can pin the bookmark bar by the following steps -
1. Open a PDF
2. Right Click on the bookmark bar, if it is semi-collapsed click on the small triangle to expand it
3. Select Pin bookmarks
4. Now bookmarks will be pinned every time you open acrobatIn case you want to customize the PDF initial view. Here, are the steps to do that -
1. Open a PDF
2. Hit CTRL+D on win / CMD+D on mac to open document properties
3. Click on the Initial View Header
4. Here you can customize the properties as per your needLet me know if you need any further info.

Did you try advanced search?
If not would ask you to give it a try. Here are the steps -
1. Open a PDF
2. Goto the right hand panel search box where 'search tools' is written
3. Search Advanced search in the search box
4. Advanced search window would pop-up.Try this out and let me know if you need any further info.

We re-verified the text selection functionality and found that to select the middle of two words, you need to drag the cursor twice.This is the standard followed in all the applications.Do let me know if you have any further trouble with this.

Would suggest you to move to multi-tab mode where-in we have the same toolbar in which you can see the current Zoom %age.Here are the steps to move to multi-tabbed mode -
1. Open Acrobat
2. Hit Ctrl+K in Win / CMD+K in mac
3. In categories select General
4. In Basic Tools section check - "Open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires relaunch)
5. Restart the acrobatDo let me know in case this does not resolve issue for you.
