   Subject: Feature Request: Add Folder Organization for PDF Library

   Dear Adobe Acrobat Reader Support Team,

   I would like to suggest a feature that I believe would greatly improve the user experience in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

   It would be very helpful if users could create custom folders within the app to organize their PDF files by topic or category. For example, books related to a particular subject could be placed in one folder, making them much easier to find and manage.

   Additionally, I suggest that these folders appear at the top of the Home page, with the Recent Files section displayed below them. This layout would make the library much more organized and allow users to access their frequently used collections quickly.

   I believe this feature would be especially useful for students, researchers, teachers, and professionals who work with a large number of PDF documents.

   Thank you for your time and for continuously improving Adobe Acrobat Reader. I hope you will consider adding this feature in a future update.

2. Locked out of an old 2017 wallet are brute-force tools actually safe?

   Hi everyone.

   I am desperately looking for some guidance regarding an old Multibit wallet file from college.

   I managed to dig up the encrypted backup on a dusty USB drive, but my problem is that I cannot fully remember the exact variation of the password I used back then. I have tried guessing a few combinations, but I am terrified of corrupting the file or permanently locking myself out.

   Do specialized tech firms actually have the computational power to solve this safely? Has anyone here hired real crypto asset recovery services:

5. Third party 2FA

   The ability to use third party apps (Google authenticator, Microsoft authenticator, Bitwarden, etc.) for 2FA would be fantastic. Or, updating your 2FA app to take the role of third party authentication for other accounts. A few companies do this, use their own app and won't allow others, but not many. This makes it tough especially when getting a new phone. By using one app for security codes and passwords (Microsoft has ended password support without Edge browser, thanks a lot) it makes things so much easier. Because of the troubles trying to login to my account, I've used third party apps to read PDFs on some devices. I'm careful with what I put on your cloud since I either don't 2FA or it goes to email. My phone number changes often enough and right now I'm forced to use VoIP which I believe isn't supported by you (among most other companies) as a secure way to verify. I'm sure this topic is somewhere in all these options, but I didn't find a form for just the Adobe account and security options, so I put it here. I scrolled through the first two pages it gave me before I created a 'new idea.' I've been through the help and the community pages, and the community has quite a buzz about it still, with some three years old and still getting replies added, upset this is not an option. For those of us who do look if you still won't use a third party, maybe tell us why. I haven't paid often for services, but I did for a while and your apps all work very well, I just didn't use them enough to justify the cost. I still use many of your products for free, but many of those replies were loyal customers who stopped because of this. We don't understand why it's something that causes a problem and you won't let us use a different company.

   Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoyed my short novel on this topic. Please let your customers know what the problem is or that you're going to allow it soon, even somewhat hidden in the options.

7. Stop allowing unathorized individuals to make account phone number changes

   I have a stalker who is able to make small changes to my accounts little by little until he is able to do a complete account takeover. It starts with phone numbers that look like one I may have used but now he has control of it. Little things like stolen library cards, stolen mail, all to do a complete account takeover and money laundering crime.

8. Request for Professional Arabic PDF Read Aloud and Language Support in Adobe Acrobat

   Dear Adobe Acrobat Team,

   I would like to submit a feature request on behalf of millions of Arabic-speaking users who rely on Adobe Acrobat every day.
   One of the biggest limitations we currently face is the lack of professional Arabic support in the Read Aloud feature. At the moment, Arabic text is often pronounced incorrectly, numbers are read inaccurately, and the overall speech quality is far from natural. This makes the feature difficult to use for work, study, and accessibility purposes.
   In addition, Arabic is not even available as a selectable language in some language recognition and reading settings. Considering that Arabic is one of the world's most widely spoken languages, this absence is both surprising and disappointing.
   Today, with the rapid advancement of AI-powered speech technologies, delivering high-quality Arabic text-to-speech is no longer a major technical challenge. Many modern AI systems already provide natural, accurate Arabic voices with proper pronunciation and fluent reading.
   We respectfully ask Adobe to prioritize:
   Native, high-quality Arabic Read Aloud support.
   Accurate pronunciation of Modern Standard Arabic.
   Correct reading of Arabic numbers, punctuation, and mixed Arabic-English content.
   Full Arabic language recognition and selection throughout Acrobat's accessibility features.
   Adobe Acrobat is the global standard for PDF documents. We hope it will also become the standard for Arabic accessibility and reading experience.

13. Feature Request: Option to change scrollbar position or keep it hidden (Prevent accidental page jumps).

    Previously, the app’s scrollbar remained hidden while reading and scrolling through a PDF. It only appeared when tapping the screen to reveal the toolbars—this clean, uninterrupted experience is actually what made me switch to Acrobat in the first place.

    However, in the current version, the scrollbar appears every time you swipe. This is a major usability issue for those of us who hold the device and scroll with our right thumb. Often, my thumb accidentally grabs the scrollbar instead of the page, causing a massive, involuntary page jump. I end up flying back to the first pages and completely losing my current reading position.

    Proposed solutions:

    1. Revert to the previous behavior (keep the scrollbar hidden while actively scrolling).

    2. (Preferred) Add a UI setting that allows users to customize the scrollbar placement, choosing whether it appears on the left or right edge of the screen. This would easily solve the issue and accommodate all users, regardless of how they hold their device.

    Why is this feature necessary?

    *Prevents accidental page jumps and user frustration:
    When scrolling through documents on mobile devices, the scrollbar acts as an active touch target. For users who scroll with their left thumb, the scrollbar directly overlaps with the natural touch interaction area. Hiding the scrollbar automatically while scrolling or moving it away prevents unintended touch triggers, saving users from losing their reading position and reducing friction.

    *Accommodates different hand grips and accessibility needs:
    Users hold their devices in various ways depending on hand dominance (left-handed vs. right-handed), device size, and personal comfort. Allowing users to choose which side of the screen the scrollbar appears on caters to a wider audience, making the app significantly more inclusive and comfortable for everyone.

    *Grants user control over the interface:
    Providing customization for core UI elements empowers users to tailor the reading environment to their preferences. A flexible interface directly enhances user satisfaction, increases reading comfort, and restores the seamless experience that originally set Acrobat apart from competitors for myself.

    I am using Adobe Acrobat on an HONOR MagicPad 4 Android tablet for teaching Mathematics and Science.
    I would like to request an improvement to the Android version of Adobe Acrobat: please add proper Superscript and Subscript formatting when adding or editing text in PDF files.
    For teachers, this feature is very important for typing mathematical and scientific expressions such as:
    x²
    cm³
    10⁻³
    mol⁻¹
    H₂O
    CO₂
    Currently, the Android version does not provide an easy superscript/subscript button similar to Microsoft Word or the desktop version of Acrobat.
    It would be very helpful if Adobe could add x² and x₂ buttons to the text formatting toolbar in a future Android update.

16. web browser like multiple pdfs for reading

    Acrobat is fine for pdf writing but NOT practical for reading. Do it like Web browser side-by-side tabs. I am reading and comparing the knowledge on the pdf documents. Read one, close then open the other and close, open another.. annoying, tiring and unnecessary and absurd.

18. Double page vertical scrolling

    Hi, could you please add the option of vertically scrolling while remaining in two pages? Now you can only scroll horizontally with two pages or vertical with only one page. This would be very helpful, especially now there is the Android desktop mode so when I connect my to my TV it's it makes so much sense to be able to view two pages and scroll vertically. Many other PDF readers such as Xodo already have it.

    Whilst reading view removed the really annoying ai folksy at the bottom, there's still an annoying top toolbar and the wretched Adobe page number (that never matches the documents page number).

    Introduce a proper clearview like Adobe used to have where you can view a document page by page FULL screen with nothing else.

    I don't want to edit, nor do I want the wretched ai (having worked with ai since the 80's, I've had enough of it!), i just want to READ documents, enlarging them so I can read them (as everything is too small nowadays and the images are too low definition so may as well be some random "modern art" - don't allow <300dpi should be 1200dpi).
