It would be great if I hadn’t to use third party apps in order to view documents side by side on the iPad.

Not having two-page view renders many comics unreadable in the app.

I can recognize the two page view mode that can be read the file from left to right, thank you.
But I want to choose the mode that I can view the pages from right to left.
It’s very comfortable if the request come true, especially I read Japanese file. -

I downloaded this app on my iPad specifically to review a book layout, only to find out that it doesn’t support the 2 page Layout view that is on the Mac desktop app. Come on Adobe, this should be something easy to implement. This would be especially useful when using the iPad in landscape orientation.

There are free PDF readers for iOS that provide two page view, it’s unfortunate that Adobe’s reader does not. (But will soon, I hope!)

Brief title for your desired feature:
Double page view on reader for iOS and iPadOSHow would you like the feature to work?
Very simple - In 'View settings' under 'Single Page' have an option that says 'Double Page' with an option to have the cover page as a single page in two page view. That's a mouthful, so you could just say 'Cover page on its own' as a sub-option.Why is this feature important to you?
- We've created a book publishable as either pdf or ePub. In trials, ePub is proving more problematic across platforms in terms of compatibility, so pdf is preferred. Except that because the book has certain images and maps spanning two pages, it doesn't work as a document viewable as single pages. Several thousand are being sent out (as well as physical copies), but because we can't get the double page spread on iOS to appear as a default, we are likely to have to go ePub, even though we would prefer PDF.It's a very simple feature to add, that already exists on other mobile platforms. It really is a no brainer, I don't understand why it doesn't exist already? I've just signed up for a trial Adobe account, but am thinking of cancelling it unless I can get double pages to work by default on iOS. I can get it to work on a Mac desktop, but that isn't sufficient for the way people consume media today.
- In business and study, iPads and iPhones are becoming ubiquitous, and I can see from this thread that it's not just me this would be important for!

It would be great to be able to view PDF files in a two pages side by side view, just as in a book. The desktop software for Reader provides that feature, hopefully it will come soon to the iOS app.

Please add the option to let us view PDF file pages side by side with the show or hide cover option
Now with the iPad pro, more than ever I miss this feature. I need to edit double page spreads for my work and am so puzzled that this feature is missing in ios reader. Thanks for considering! (I would pay for this feature if Reader became a paid app)
