Adobe Acrobat read-only document on a PDF that is modificable
When I am reading and highlighting text on a PDF and then I go to another app, or the iPad just goes to sleep and then you come back and try to do the same thing, you get a message saying that the PDF is read-only, that, of course, is not true because I was just editing it. This is a big bug because I use this app to study and having to reopen the book again everytime is so frustrating
My IOS is 9.3.5, please fix, I'm going to use some alternative apps until you fix the bug

Following the steps I can see that the version is 18.01.15, and I don't get the option of updating from the app store

I already had it updated before commenting the bug, I found on the terms of use of the app that the last update was on June 5, 2018. Does this mean that the problem will persist because I cannot update it to 18.07.30. Also I am using my ipad from Ecuador, just in case I cannot get the update mentioned because of my current location.

Hi,
What's shown in your screenshot is an older version of Acrobat Reader.
Would you please check the version of your Acrobat?
1. Go to iOS Settings app.
2. Select Adobe Acrobat.
3. Check Version. The last compatible version of Acrobat for your iPad/iPhone running iOS 9.3.5 is *18.07.30*.
You can go to the App Store app on your iPad/iPhone and find Acrobat. If it shows "UPDATE", please update your Acrobat to 18.07.30.
Please let us know if Acrobat 18.07.30 works for you.
Thank you.
