6. File conversion

   I started in the morning around 9:30am to convert a PDF to a Microsoft Word document. It is now 8:45 pm and the file conversion is not complete. I have tried to stop the program without any success. I am seriously frustrated.
   I started my subscription yesterday. I want to cancel it now, if I can't even convert single file.

13. I have full Adobe PAID for yet EVERY pdf ATTACHMENT requires multiple steps to download my computer or just open and print it.

    FIX IT. It was just fine before. Because there are so many free pdf readers and such I purchased Adobe Acrobat PRO and pay a monthly fee to use it so I can attend to any pdf I receive or need to work with and send out and it can be utilized/read on any iOs or Microsoft based computer or phone. This used to take me moments to handle emails, with the mess this new version has it takes me 3-4x as long or more causing a huge impact on my work day and scheduling. I can no longer grab a file quickly, review, edit and return. Sometimes print is needed to edit items when they are blocks or other details.
    When the instructions to fix are multiple steps long and have multiple "If this doesn't work, try this:" - that should signify there is a problem with the initial big idea. Instead of releasing a major change that causes a complete change and multiple steps you have complicated the easiest thing about emails and attachments. My goodness it's no wonder older people are dropping computer use in droves. When changes like this occur and there is not an easy fix and you aren't a millennial or younger, you are screwed. STOP IT. The world works on computers now and the more changes you are making is making me more and more likely to keep paper print on everything. I don't trust that I can even pull pictures out of the cloud after a time or off of a device after 3 years because storage methods and imaging changes so much.
    The BEAUTY of the PDF is that it locks items into a set space so that it is bundled up in one little package and it takes less real estate if you know how to reduce size, etc. Then it can be sent so the person on the other end sees the same thing you do. If you have to convert it to a word doc, or jpg or whatever to view it doesn't always convert well. We have a singing event TONIGHT and all of the music was scanned and put into a PDF file. No one can get to save as a PDF (even tho it says Adobe Acrobat File) it opens as a .prn file which cannot convert to ANYTHING readable AND cannot be printed out. All of the music is completely distorted. We are in several states, it's not like we can copy and send it.
    PLEASE think about the users before you make major changes like this. We independent people don't get paid to spend all day how to learn to work new systems or changes like this or to sit in a class. Even the 'how to make this happen Googles online couldn't fix the problem and when you see a BUNCH of those you know the system is screwed up and no one can get it to work well, easily.
    Someone in marketing sold you a boat load of manure. If it ain't broke don't fix it. PLEASE put it back the way it was.
    ONE CLICK should be all you need to print, save as the correct file type you want - it has to be a selection given!

14. Print from Acrobat plugin prints jibberish characters

    Frequently when trying to print a pdf using the Adobe Acrobat plugin, it just shows random characters instead of the actual document (see attached screenshot).
    It doesn't matter what printer I choose, even if I choose Adobe Acrobat PDF printer.
    So I have to save the pdf file, open it in Acrobat, then print it (a convoluted process).

    I have completely wasted my money!!!!! This program was supposed to enable me to convert a PDF file to a Word document, but IT DOES NOT WORK! The document I need to convert is a manuscript I need to submit to my publisher. I am very, VERY displeased!!!!!!!

20. Unable to add/edit hyperlinks Adobe Acrobat Extension

    This version of Adobe Acrobat (Online) does not seem to have the ability to add/edit hyperlink within a pDF file. At least not one easily identified by a person.
