  2. My Acrobat when I open it up and try to scroll down a document - freezes. I have to wait for it to unfreeze to carry on. I have uninstalled it, installed it again but its the same. I am not running a low end computer, there is enough memory and space, its very frustrating. I even pay for the low end subscription just to get some sort of editing functions - but this freezing up, slows down my work pace.

  4. What have you done? The interface to fill out forms online is no longer functioning. It has a completely new look that is not necessary and is cumbersome. Please put the ease this feature previously had back. This is ridiculous.

  5. STOP Advertising Adobe when the user attempts to open a pdf document. What appears on the screen is GIANT characters which introduce new stressful hassle in getting to the goal: opening a pdf.

  9. When I click a PDF all I want is to see the PDF open cleanly with the accurate URL in the address bar without extras ADOBE noise. Also when opening a pdf I dont want to see a bunch of noisy sidebars that take up real estate. The extension is way too heavy and clunky.

  10. Acrobat Reader keeps asking me to sign in. The **** popup has no close button. It's over the search bar, making the whole thing unusable.

Actually, never mind. I found another viewer that doesn't do that.

  12. PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS.
Who even asked for these changes? I would like to be able to click on the document and save it to my laptop for typical uses of a pdf (printing, sharing, etc.) now (if it even loads with the chrome extension) I have to download it, go to the downloads, find the file, then save it. You've added extra steps for no reason. Instead of assuming we all use forms the same way, assume there are plenty of people who LOVE the way it used to work. You could provide an opt in…

  14. For the Love of God stop all those annoying things popping up each time I want to open a PDF. No, I don't want to log in. No I don't want to take a tour. No I don't care if there are different themes. No I do not want to provide feedback (until I get so sick of the stupid things popping up all the time). I just want to open files and print them. if I want to do anything else with it I will ask, I don't need the extension to tell me. Just wish there was another…

  15. Only "Print This File" button does NOT work at all. I use the recent ver. of Chrome and this Acrobat for Chrome on Monterey Ver. 12.6. This problem has not solved about a year, so I have to download each pdf file everytime I want to print them out.

    Hi,

Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. Requesting you to share some additional details with us and try a troubleshooting step to help you further -

    • Can you please share the PDF URL (if it is not confidential) OR share the exact steps to reproduce the issue?
    • Also, can you please open these browser settings - chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments and check if the following setting for opening PDFs in browser is enabled "Open PDFs in Chrome". If not, please toggle from "Download PDFs" to "Open PDFs in Chrome". Now, please try to open PDFs in the Acrobat Viewer and print again.

Hoping the above will resolve your issue. Requesting you to please confirm to us by reverting back if your issue is resolved.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Shilpa Setia

  16. Inserting the chrome extension at the start of the URL is really annoying. Why do you even need to do that? I often need to copy and paste a URL to share it with someone else, and I have to copy just the portion of the URL that is relevant. When I bookmark a page, I can't copy the link from the bookmark - no one else can open the link. I am close to disabling this app as a result.

  17. Hi, the Adobe Chrome extension is great, but it would be ideal if we could set the default view. For example, I want all PDFs in Two-page view, Zoomed to Page Level.
    Kind regards,

  18. The tool bar you mandate use of in the online version of PDF reader has forced me to abandon Adobe forever. I will never use this product again or until you allow me the decision to have the toolbar or not have it. I will use a competitor's product going forward.

  20. It's okay for use when it's just a one-page PDF or a quick read, but I know how to use the desk app and it's a lot easier to download the file and open it if it's more than a page or two.

I'd rather see more effort put into integrated Acrobat into IOS so that when a PDF is received it can open directly from email or text without having to jump through 50,000 Apple hoops and swirls and shares and hamburgers to read a frickin' one page PDF.
