By default auto-update feature is turned ON, but you can infact turn it OFF.

The preference to not automatically install updates used to work, but hasn't lately over the last few updates. The check box doesn't stick after it's deselected.

The bug not allowing you to turn off auto update has come back. (maybe since the app became unified?)
With the latest few versions, if I uncheck the box, it's back to being checked when reopened.
There are times you may not want the update to occur automatically, like if you know there are bugs etc. Please fix.
