Can not disable auto updates
Auto update feature cannot be turned off. This is a fundamental flaw in your software. No software should ever update without permission of ownder.
Please let us know the OS on which you are using Acrobat (Windows or Mac).

The bug not allowing you to turn off auto update has come back. (maybe since the app became unified?)
With the latest few versions, if I uncheck the box, it's back to being checked when reopened.
There are times you may not want the update to occur automatically, like if you know there are bugs etc. Please fix.

Hi, I also need the automatic updates turned off. My problem is that each time I run it manually it turns automatic updates back on. Also, it turns on a setting in the Adobe PDF printer that I need to remain unchecked and that is the 'rely on system fonts' setting. So, each time I update I have to try and remember to go back in and turn them both off again. The printer setting is the main reason why I want the updates to run manually. Is there something that can be done so that our settings are not changed with each update?
Thanks for your help,
Pam
