    Hi Travis,

I looked at your registry file. I could not find anything in the registry that could prevent the Enable new Acrobat option from appearing in the View menu. There are other scenarios which are not captured in registry - Are you running Acrobat in AppV or Citrix environment or doing Remote desktop session? What is the language of the Acrobat, English or some other variant of English?

Also, please update the Acrobat to the latest version as we have also made some changes in this area. Latest version is 23.006.20360 (Optional update, Oct 17, 2023)

    Merhaba Nazmi,

Sorunu bildirdiğiniz için teşekkür ederiz. Belgeler arası bağlantının, dosyanın her zaman aynı pencerede açılacağını belirtmiş olması mümkün olabilir. Acrobat'ta belgeyi aynı veya ayrı pencerede veya tercihe göre açmak için düzenlemeyi veya bağlantı oluşturmayı deneyebilirsiniz

    Hi Mehul,

We appreciate the time and effort you took to leave us a remark since we're constantly searching for ways to make Acrobat better.

We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you are able to be more productive & get more out of Acrobat.

With the new interface we aim to - Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document. Easily allow users to discover PDF tools they need by ensuring tools are intuitively grouped and a click away,

Regarding the comment icon not working, we are investigating the issue at our end. Also, you can make the comment tool non-sticky by first clicking the comment icon in floating Quick tool bar, the you will see a pin icon (screenshot attached). You can toggle to make it non-sticky.

We are evaluating the preference to always open the new pdf in a separate window. Meanwhile, you can drag the file tab to keep a pdf in a separate window.

We would also like to highlight that we have exhaustively tested these changes with users over the past 12 months, keenly monitoring user behavior & addressing top user issues before gradually rolling out the new interface to the Acrobat user base

A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have ensured all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are proactively addressing any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows.

We are also updated our helpx page that will assist you better - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html

Once again, we appreciate your comments. Please stay tuned for more of our upcoming releases as we are constantly working on improving the new experience.

Hi Adam, Thank you for your feedback.

Are you on Acrobat or Reader? In Acrobat, the All tools panel on left remembers the state. And, right panels open by default only if it has content that can be shown in the right panel, for example if document has comments, then it will open the comments panel by default. Comments actually has a preference that you can toggle to not open the comments panel on document having comments. It is in Preferences > Commenting > [Checkbox] Show comments pane when a PDF with comments in opened.
We dont have such preference for other right panes. We have taken this feedback and will work on to improve the experience.

Hi Bradh, Thank you for your feedback. We understand the + Create button opens up the menu that takes up the space of title bar and hampers with the actions of Window. We have logged a bug for this and will investigate this to come up with a right solution.

Hi Phil, Thank you for reporting the issue. Can you please share the screenshot of the "welcome" tutorial, that keeps on appearing again and again? Our teaching tips and Welcome dialogs are made to appear only once for a user. Hope to hear from you soon.

We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you are able to be more productive & get more out of Acrobat.

We allow the customization of the top left toolbar (Quick tools) using Customization window that comes on clicking ... button at the bottom of the toolbar. You can add Stamp tool to it from the Customize toolbar window (Stamp is there under Add Comments).

With new release you can also move the floating Quick tools bar anywhere in your document view.

You can also customize the order of your tools under All tools in left pane. you can Right click the Add a stamp tool to move it up or drag it to move to the new position.

Do look forward to our upcoming releases.

The navigation tools for PDFs have all been gathered and placed to the right. These tools were arranged specifically for each platform, whether desktop, mobile, tablet, or mobile, making sure that the tool layout remained intuitive, optimized, and purposeful regardless of where the user was on Acrobat.

Regarding zoom functionality - you can set the default zoom value from the Preference dialog (Ctrl+K, Cmd+K, or from top menus) > Page Display > Type the % value in the Zoom: Combobox

We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you are able to be more productive & get more out of Acrobat.

With the new interface we aim to

    1. Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document.

    2. Easily allow users to discover PDF tools they need by ensuring tools are intuitively grouped and a click away,

**For example, all tools that allow content, page & file level edits can be found under one action based verb called “Edit”; tools that allow converting files to & from PDFs can be found under “Convert”; tools that allow filling & signing documents or requesting signatures from others under “Sign”.

    3. The search field on top ("Find text or tools") allows you to not only search for content within the document but also find and access tools. For example, you can search for "Add text" and it will show you the option to add text.

    4. We allow lot of customization in the app. For example - you can drag drop the tools in All tools left pane to reorder your tools. Similarly, the top left toolbar (Quick tools) can also be customized using Customization window that comes on clicking ... button at the bottom of the toolbar. We are proactively addressing any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows.

We will follow up on this response with a detailed blog post explaining the changes, a guide to help familiarize you to the new interface, along with regular updates on upcoming changes.
