Scroll bar gone
The most recent update to how pages function is not user friendly. The scroll bar has virtually disappeared. I must continually re-enable it for every document. Very frustrating.

Have there been any updates on this?? I am using Adobe for Mac - no pens, just straight up computer use. There is no scroll bar and it is terribly frustrating for my workflow.

Like Karen, I'm exclusively using a Wacom Pen for input. Many, many people have reported that this problem have persisted for a long, long time now, but nothing is done.
"We have upgraded the Scroll Framework for that reason scroll bar would only be available while scrolling."
No one on the planet wants this. We want to be able to scroll the bloody document, which you have made impossible!
How do you suppose to start scrolling so that the scroll bar Is visible and available to scroll with, when it's hidden and impossible to activate?
"If you want to see scroll bars always, we do have a working solution for that.
For that, we will be honouring the macOS setting."Do you have any idea how incredibly infuriating it is to have to manually hack preference files in terminal to get a bloody app I pay quite a hefty sum for to work properly?
You have gone wrong in developing this app, away from usability.

And it can't be re-enabled for a document while the document is viewed, only for a few seconds. MacOS Sept 2023 update. What is really infuriating is that the scroll bar cannot be activated via a Wacom pen!

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for sharing the feedback. We have upgraded the Scroll Framework for that reason scroll bar would only be available while scrolling.
If you want to see scroll bars always, we do have a working solution for that.
For that, we will be honouring the macOS setting.- you will have to change the Mac setting to Always show the scroll bar
- you will have to set below plist registrySteps-
- Go to ~/Library/Preferences/ -> open com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist
- Go to DC -> AVGeneral & create plist key -> HonorSystemScrollerPref as shown in the attached image.- Run the below command in the terminal.
sudo killall cfprefsdThanks,
