Comment icon - Utter joke
In general, I was happy with last version (although I dont like upgrades). you can call me +447501636720 to know my feedback personally. This new app style upgrades is definatelly rubbish and adobe should roll back to old version. Comment icon is not working 9 out of 10 times and once it is on, it just put comments on the page at every click. Having files in same window make alt+tab function history. Abode is becoming a joke app style web based product now instead of authentic sound user friendly product that it used to be. No wonder now my employer offers two options to users for PDF and many are choosing the 'other' one and not adobe. I am going soon move. Thanks Adobe for your services but you have become blackberry and nokia of PDF now.

Hi Mehul,
We appreciate the time and effort you took to leave us a remark since we're constantly searching for ways to make Acrobat better.
We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change, however we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you are able to be more productive & get more out of Acrobat.
With the new interface we aim to - Provide a simplified viewing experience that helps reduce clutter & optimise it for most used PDF actions that are relevant while viewing a document. Easily allow users to discover PDF tools they need by ensuring tools are intuitively grouped and a click away,
Regarding the comment icon not working, we are investigating the issue at our end. Also, you can make the comment tool non-sticky by first clicking the comment icon in floating Quick tool bar, the you will see a pin icon (screenshot attached). You can toggle to make it non-sticky.
We are evaluating the preference to always open the new pdf in a separate window. Meanwhile, you can drag the file tab to keep a pdf in a separate window.
We would also like to highlight that we have exhaustively tested these changes with users over the past 12 months, keenly monitoring user behavior & addressing top user issues before gradually rolling out the new interface to the Acrobat user base
A point to note is that as we made these changes in the interface, we have ensured all tools & features that are currently supported, retain their familiar functionalities and workflows as they did in the previous version. We are proactively addressing any gaps or issues reported by users related to any break in current workflows.
We are also updated our helpx page that will assist you better - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html
Once again, we appreciate your comments. Please stay tuned for more of our upcoming releases as we are constantly working on improving the new experience.
