Also, to re-ensure, can you check if this registry is set to 1 in your system?

Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update (21.001.20135) containing the fix for this issue is now available.This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. You may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.

An error occurred while saving the comment Shreya Bhattacharya commentedThis feature of displaying "File Name" by default as document title irrespective of Initial View setting can be turned off with this setting:
In Acrobat/Reader application's Edit in top menu>Preferences> Go to Documents Category from Left side panel> Uncheck "Always Use filename as document title"> Click OK button.
With this option unchecked, whatever setting done in Initial View will be reflected as the title of that document.

Path to check release number: Go to Help in Top menu> Click on About Acrobat Pro DC.

An error occurred while saving the comment Shreya Bhattacharya commentedCan you send a video showing the same behaviour and also mention the build you are using. The complete vertical bar on left side should be clickable which opens the window having Thumbnails, Bookmarks and Attachments
