  1. I would like to be able to copy a list from excel and then add that to a drop down list in adobe. Many of us work with large blocks of data in excel and it would be nice to copy and paste a dropdown list from excel into adobe instead of adding each item one at a time

  2. I exported a form from Excel with multiple cells i added checkboxes over.

    I want to have each checkbox row have a similar name, but I have to manually change multiple checkbox names, and the properties box is only semi-persistent.

    There needs to be an easier option for naming multiple fields.

    I have forwarded your request to engineering. It will be picked up after prioritization. We will contact you if we need some more information on this.
    Thank you for your patience.

  3. Adobe Acrobat Pro needs to have the ability of research fonts when you create a text field into a form on windows, it's ridiculous that windows doesn't have a research for fonts, on adobe on Mac you can type at least the 3 initial letters of the fonts to find it!

  4. I should be able to Combine or Organize a fillable pdf and a regular (non-filled) pdf. When I do, the regular pdf becomes fillable.

  5. It should be simple to create a method by which two or more consecutive text boxes can be linked in a chain. This would allow a user to continue typing from the end of one line onto the next without having to hit Tab or click into the subsequent box. In other words, continuous entry.

    The closest option to this that exists at present is Multiline, but that is useful only for text areas that completely align from left to right. That, of course, is not always the case with real-world forms, and it seems time for a more advanced…

  6. Zoom in to 300 (might also occur more or less but figuring out the exact steps to duplicate this takes a lot of time even though I accidentally cause it to happen all of the time). Start clicking on the horizontal scroll bar arrows multiple times, or hold/scroll with the actual horizontal scroll bar and eventually this will happen. I think something is triggering it to scroll in both directions... maybe something with the mouse causes it to also scroll vertically... but adobe will render up to three modals (from what I've seen) and then sometimes two of them stay…

  7. When creating a text field, under the General tab, where the Form Field is set to "Visible", if under the Format tab you enter the following custom script (for example):

    var message = 'Title'
    if (event.value == '') {
    event.target.display = display.noPrint
    event.value = message
    } else {
    event.target.display = display.visible
    }

    Saving the PDF apparently corrupts the file in some way where when you attempt to re-open it, it causes Acrobat to crash and the pdf is unrecoverable. When the Form Field is set to "Visible but doesn't print" no error occurs.

  8. Our corporate forms have a fixed format of a table of information in the header and a different one in the footer. We were trying to migrate to Adobe Acrobat for the forms but that can't be done. Instead we have to stick with Microsoft Word for the forms. The Adobe Acrobat header/footer options are increibly limited.

  9. Please create the option to set a font for Form Editing, or fix the "Use Current Properties as New Defaults" to include the selected font as well. Helvetica isn't a common font, but I'd really rather not have to change it for every field I create on a converted document.
    Thanks...Love the program.

  10. It would be very helpful (and some may say essential) if we could set a default font for your form wizard when it creates text fields. Converting word.docs for form is great using the wizard but then we have to go back and change the font size (and other settings for text fields). This makes the task much longer to do. With the ability to set default settings it would cut down this process and close a potential gap that a competitor of yours may exploit!

  11. Compatibility problem between Acrobat Pro and Indesign when using an interactive pdf create on In design.
    I have created buttons and checkbox on a document about indesign that I record in pdf interactive.
    When I open it on acrobat, I click on the checkboxes, the button disappears well. However, when I uncheck the box this button does not reappear, while the parameters are entered in indesign (show / hide the buttons and forms).
    I think this is a bug related to Acrobat Pro.

  12. Please incorporate the function for using "hidden", so hiding Pages for Adobe Static form's PDF can be used. Currently you can only use this option for Adobe Dynamic xml form's, This will allow users to be able to use commenting. ie. "Stamps" when extended to Adobe reader, Save option is used.

    Put it in a small UpDate

  13. Editing Form Fields.

    In previous versions of Adobe Pro 9, 10 & 11 it was possible to edit Form Fields 1 page at a time by:

    selecting and highlighting 1 field,
    then right click to Select All,
    then successfully edit all fields on just that 1 page
    Then save.

    This does not work in Adobe DC. When same steps are followed Adobe selects EVERY field in Form on EVERY page (very slowly). When Field Properties are edited Program then freezes each time you try to save.

    Please Adobe RESTORE same 1 page Form Field editing to DC as was fully…

  14. Lifecycle designer offered more maths/formula functionality, so either bringing back lifecycle designer (which I lost when I upgraded software), or making the products that will be lost when upgraded more apparent so we could keep some of the older options - which then leads to the next problem of making some of the older products that are widely used, compatible with the new upgraded product.

  15. When creating form fields and trying to pick a color, you can't create a new CYMK swatch and have it stay with the same color values. It converts to RGB and the color is not the same as the original defined. The new colors do not match with colors defined from other programs like InDesign.
