2. Continuous Highlight

I'd like to request a "continuous highlight" feature. What do I mean by that.

Say there is a paragraph. I highlight important and relevant parts of several sentences from that paragraph. Normally, when you view the pdf in Acrobat Reader all is highlighted and fine. For this type of work you don't need a "continuous highlight" as you can see the highlights on the page.

But a lot of people extract annotations from PDFs for research. Adobe is great for reading, re-reading, and annotation making, but when work is done I need to extract the annotations into an interrelated database. The problem with short highlights after being extracted is that you don't have a clue what they are. The skill of highlighting comes with practice, sure, but we still highlight parts of sentences.

After the notes from our example paragraph are extracted, each highlight appears as a new line.

My proposed "continuous highlight" would let you select as many words as you want from different sentences and save it as 1 highlight — visually in Acrobat it'd appear the same. Every time 2 nearest words would be from different sentences or paragraphs an ellipsis would be added to the extraction.

Example of paragraph (highlights marked with ><, as I don't see graphical edit in this forum)

Lorem ipsum<< dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Integer nec odio. Praesent libero. Sed cursus ante dapibus diam. Sed nisi. Nulla quis sem at nibh >>elementum imperdiet. Duis sagittis ipsum<<. Praesent mauris. Fusce nec tellus sed augue semper porta. Mauris massa. Vestibulum lacinia arcu eget nulla. Class aptent taciti sociosqu ad litora torquent per conubia nostra, per inceptos himenaeos.>> Curabitur sodales ligula<< in libero. Sed dignissim lacinia nunc.

Example of Continuous Highlight in extracted form

Lorem ipsum … elementum imperdiet. Duis sagittis ipsum … Curabitur sodales ligula …

This would be very, very handy. Also first of its kind afaik.

   Thanks.

7. Fill & Sign: Comb field resizing handle (character spacing) unresponsive on Android

   Description:
In the "Fill & Sign" tool, the manual adjustment handle for Comb of characters fields is no longer functional on the Android version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
When a form contains pre-printed boxes for individual characters, the app correctly identifies the field (showing the "A|b" icon), but the blue resize handle used to adjust the character spacing to match the box does not respond to touch input. This makes it impossible to align text with the physical boxes on the document.
   Steps to Reproduce:
Open a flat PDF (without interactive fields) in Acrobat Reader for Android.
   Select "Fill & Sign".
Tap on a section of the document that has a grid/box layout for letters (e.g., an IBAN or Name field).
Attempt to use the adjustment handle (the blue icon on the right side of the text box) to stretch the text to fit the boxes.
   Expected Result:
The user should be able to drag the handle to increase or decrease the spacing between characters to align them with the document's background grid.
   Actual Result:
Dragging results in no change to the text width/spacing.
   Environment:
   App Version: 26.3.0.43843
   OS: Android 16
   Device: Samsung S25 Ultra

10. Acrobat Mobile: Add config controls to disable file location options and to fully remove message to grant permission to Allow File Access.

When using a shared mobile device, we need to limit the visibility of previously accessed files by other users. This could be accomplished by removing access to the "On this device" option within Acrobat mobile.

Secondly if we could remove the system from requesting permission to the "All file access" so that permission couldn't be granted by the user afterward.

To summarize, here are the following requests for configuration options:

Remove the "allow access to your files to view, modify, and save PDFs" See attached image 1Featurerequest

The ability to hide "On this Device" as a file location selection. See attached image 2FeatureRequest

17. Way to block unwanted files

I get lots of spam and pornographic files that appear and cannot be blocked or deleted. Mass delete always tells me some files cannot be deleted and none of them actually are. There should be a way to block them as well. I don't have any use for them. I added a screen shot of just pure trash that I do not want and can't remove.
