Edit PDF on iPhone
Please allow us to edit PDFs on the iPhone app version. We pay good money for this feature on PC and iPad , please give us this feature on our phones too.

Acrobat Reader 19.07.00 supports “Edit PDF“ on iPhone now.
You can add or edit text and add images to PDF documents.
1. Open a PDF document.
2. Tap the blue round button with the pencil icon.
3. Tap "Edit PDF".Please note that “Edit PDF“ on iPad and iPhone are available via the Acrobat Pro DC paid subscription only. You need to sign in with your Adobe ID with the Acrobat Pro DC paid subscription.
If you still do not see the "Edit PDF" option in the menu, it's either:
(a) You do not have the Acrobat Pro DC paid subscription.
Go to Acrobat's Settings > Plans & Products > Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to check if your Adobe ID is entitled to the Acrobat Pro DC paid subscription.
(b) The PDF document does not allow editing/modification due to document restrictions or encryption.IMPORTANT: You do *not* need to pay for the Acrobat Pro DC subscription to add comments (Highlight, Sticky Notes, Freehand Drawing, etc.) or fill out forms. The basic functionality of adding comments and filling out forms is FREE.
Hope this clarifies misconceptions about what "Edit PDF" means.

What is the big deal in solving this issue??
This should already be part of the package of which is $200.
Get with the times Adobe and quit holding us ******* to a desktop or laptop computer. -

I fully agree with all of the comments. It stymies me as to why this isn’t a given? Acrobat has been around for a long time and it seems that having the capability to edit from phones is a no brainer.

Seriously need to enable the APP to edit documents. Must be in the fine print that this is not an available feature. I assumed paying for and upgrade to PRO would include the capability to edit from my phone. I feel ripped off!

I STRONGLY support this request for a *host* of editing/creation tools, emulating macOS & PC tools. We NEED this feature!
iPad Pro has become my primary computing device since its release: I use it at least 85% of the time, followed by my macOS device about 10% and then PC about 5% (overall computing...the lack of Acrobat features on iOS skews these usages to about 85%+ macOS, 10%+ PC and just 0-3% iOS--and I never use Reader just to read PDFs since there is really no benefit).
Acrobat itself--not just Reader--hasn't kept up with iOS. A FULL SUITE of editing as close to the editing (and form/document creation tools) as available on macOS or PC versions of Acrobat Pro/DC ought to be available for iOS (at LEAST for the powerful and large-screen, Pencil-compatible iPad Pro!) because this is a rate-limiting step and requires intense coordination/unnecessary, duplicative work. Editing documents directly on iPad/iOS would keep me an active Acrobat user (because I'm otherwise shying away from and losing respect for Adobe until these features are implemented!). Cheers!

Don’t get this app. It’s just stealing my money now and there is no way to cancel it.
