I had this issue and i made a work around to resolve it. You need to open the document first with apple book and do any marking then save the file. You will be able to see annotation and marking when you import the file again in acrobat read on your iPad

I am having the same issue. It works for some documents but noth others. I am unable to tell the difference between the two documents. Neither is a scanned image and both can be edited on my laptop but not on the ipad

Basically the only features that work right now in the Adobe app on my Ipad are ‘comment’ and free-hand drawing. I really need highlighting when i study !!

Having issues with one document specifically. I am able to comment on my PDF with the desktop version but not the iPad version. I do not even have my blue button at the bottom right of my iPad when this document comes up. It is not restricted, I have checked. Any ideas or thoughts will help! Thanks
