Allow users to change colour of search highlighter
When I use Adobe the CTRL F search function of Adobe Acrobat DC, I often find it hard to see where on the page the item I'm searching for is being highlighted. The highlighter colour that Adobe uses is a light grey/blue and it simply doesn't stand out enough. Very often, I'm searching for a single character and the documents I'm proofreading such as reports and brochures often have a coloured background, making it even harder to spot that pesky highlighter! It seems so simple to me that there should be a way for users to opt for a bright colour that really 'pops' and stands out when they use the search function. Surely I can't be the only one struggling with this?

We use the find / search option while trying to support them during their lowest moments, so we can signpost to other organisations. The light blue highlight is not easy to see especially when yu are tying to listen to someone to support them
