  4. Application Crash in Adobe Reader 24.002.21005

    After installing Adobe Reader update 24.002.21005, an access violation occurs after opening a PDF file through the web browser for the first time. This seems to occur if a user has not previously used the software, so the HKEYCURRENTUSER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AV2FTESection key does not exist. After clicking through the error message, this key gets created and the problem does not reappear.

    Examples of the error that gets displayed to users and the corresponding entry in the Windows event log are attached.

    Applicant name error leads CAQH credentialing in wrong projections and applicant to probable loss of job ineligibility as directly happened to Margaret Bluford-Edwards. I pray that name error was not intended to block applicant. Take care. The End.
