It sounds like this file is local, but are you sure this is not a file shared with you from Document Cloud? We do have a current bug that we are working on fixing where opening a shared file while you are not logged in causes a crash.

If this is a local file, would you be willing to share it with us? We test frequently with pdfs that are local only and it's possible you have encountered a specific document that is causing this issue.

Hi - Thanks for the feedback. This is something we've heard from many and we are considering in a future version. We can access OneDrive files using the Files App, but it sounds like you'd like a deeper integration like we have with Google Drive and Dropbox?

Hello - I am very sorry for your experience. Your PDF Pack subscription still includes the Free Fill & Sign capabilities, as well as the ability to combine pdfs and the ability to export / convert PDF to other office formats. It may be that you are looking at our promotion for "Edit", which adds the capability to edit existing paragraphs on a PDF. Can you please let us know if you are unable to access the PDF Pack features (Combine, export, described here https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/faq/adobe-pdfpack-faq.html)? If so, there may be a problem that we can help with.

Hello - The "Inbox" folder is the folder that iOS uses to place files that are opened using "Copy To" Acrobat. We don't show the folder name as "Inbox" in Acrobat, but instead display those files under the "Files" tab in "On This iPhone" (or "On This iPad").

    Hello,
Unfortunately, those files are all stored locally, in the Application folder (a standard iOS behavior for non cloud files). Deleting the application deletes the files. The only way to recover them is if you have a backup of your device (often, people have iCloud backup turned on, and this will work). You can recover them by restoring a recent backup.

For future files, I would recommend using cloud storage (either Acrobat.com or another, like Dropbox or iCloud) for files you want to keep indefinitely.

    I hope this helps!

Hello - We've prevented the content from appearing under the notch so that there are no cases where the content cannot be viewed. We've also taken this approach while zooming, though I understand your request that on zooming in, we should use that space.

Hello - This appears to be an Adobe Flash application. Adobe Flash is not supported on the iPhone (largely due to restrictions by Apple that prevented Adobe from releasing support for Flash on these devices). The Adobe Acrobat Reader application will allow you to view PDF files but not Flash apps.

Hi - I have seen this problem when I have too many apps installed on my device. There are a limited number of pages available and when I exceed that, an app will show up in Spotlight search, but not in my home carousel. On my iPhone X, that limit is 16 pages. If you have many pages in your home view, this may be the problem. I've also seen reports of users who cannot find the app because "offload unused apps" is set in the preferences. However, I don't think this would be the case if it is still showing up in Spotlight. Another suggestion would be to restart the device. Finally, you could do Settings->General->Reset->Reset Home Screen Layout, though be warned that this will re-organize all of your apps into alphabetical order. If it were me, I would not want to do this. Unfortunately, the app has nothing it can do to show or hide itself in the home screens. If you cannot find it, you may wish to contact Apple support.

Hi - Thanks for your feedback. This is something we struggled with in our design and we've seen other apps struggle with it as well. The choice between hiding the button to make it no longer accessible vs. hiding the "..." seemed to be a choice between two bad experiences. We settled on the following solution: If you pull past the bottom row, the plus button should fade out briefly. While it is faded out, you can tap on the dots to open the context menu.

Though you cannot add any cloud other than Dropbox directly, you can see the available File providers (e.g. Google Drive ) that you have enabled from the Files App by going to Acrobat's Locations, More locations and then choosing "Browse".

    Hi Geoff,

You cannot move files in Home > Recent. Please switch to Files > Locations to move files.

    1. Tap “Files” at the bottom tab bar.
    2. Select a location (e.g. “On This iPad/iPhone”, “Document Cloud”).
    3. Tap “…”.
    4. Tap “Move” from the menu that pops up.
    5. Select a destination folder.
    6. Tap Move.

    Hope this helps.

One other option for saving both locally and to other apps / clouds that support the new iOS file integration is to "Share a Copy", choose "Save to Files". Then, in the files menu that comes up, choose "On My iPhone" to save to other apps that store documents locally (including Acrobat), or to choose one of the cloud options for apps / clouds that integrate with this feature.

Hello and thank you. We've reproduced this problem and are investigating it for a potential fix in the future.

In continuous plus immersive (toolbars hidden) mode, we leave space at the top of the first page (only) so that we can ensure that you can view the top of that page below the iPhone X notch. Otherwise, if there was content near the top margin, the notch would block it. When scrolling to subsequent pages, we take full advantage of the screen and some of the content will scroll behind the notch. If you only have a single page, you won't see this behavior, but even then we need to leave that space at the top of the document so that you can view that top margin.

Can you please share more about what you are trying to do? In recent releases, we've moved the signature capability underneath the "Fill & Sign" tool. This can be found by tapping on the blue "+" button when viewing a pdf document. If you are seeing this and something isn't working, it would help to know more about the things that you are trying.

We are using the iOS printing capabilities, so all options are controlled by the built-in capabilities of iOS and the printer. In the print dialog on iOS, there should be an "Options" button below the number of copies. If your printer supports changing the style of printing, you should be able to tap on that to change to "Double-Sided".

Hi - Thanks for the feedback. This forum is for Acrobat, but I'm happy to answer best I can. This is a good feature request and one we've heard before (specifying page sizes). For the most part, we've focused on making the Scan experience "Automatic", however several users have requested this capability as well.

    Hi,
We fixed an issue like this in early October. However, there is still a known Apple iOS bug where this occurs in older versions of iOS (< 11.3). For those users, powering off the device and powering it back on will fix the issue. Additionally, updating the OS helps as well.
