  2. I am not sure why there is now a screen after I press the fill & sign button that asks who needs to fill and sign first, but it is just 1 more step, one more click I have to make before signing each document I open - very inconvenient. This extra step also seems to slow down the time it takes adobe to open and prepare my document for any sort of editing.

    Hi All,

Fill and Sign and Adobe Sign (formerly known as Send for Signature) are now consolidated into a single Sign tool where you can either fill & sign a document or get a document signed from others. It includes a simplified experience that asks you who needs to fill and sign first: you or others and then walks you through the steps to complete the task. It’s the one place for all your form filling and signature needs. For detailed information, you may refer to the article What’s new in Adobe Acrobat DC

This is designed behavior, I will check with the team and will share an update soon.

Thanks for your time and patience on this.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  3. When I have a heading that can be duplicated but a list of names that are different I run into an issue. The names I populate on the first page will automatically appear on the second page. Then when I change the names on the second page it will change the names on the first.

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting the issue. I tried and observed that the issue is happening when you perform a Save As operation and not on a direct Save operation. Also the issue seems specific to this file.

You can try this workaround if it helps. In the meanwhile we are looking into this issue and will inform you once we have new updates.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  4. When signed into Adobe Acrobat DC and computer is behind a corporate HTTP proxy you can't delete signatures or initials.

    Steps to replicate:
Sign into Adobe Acrobat DC on a PC behind a corporate HTTP proxy
Open a PDF with Adobe Acrobat DC and go to Tools->Fill and Sign->Sign
Clicking on grey stop sign next to signature or initial has no effect

Only workaround is to close Adobe Acrobat DC and rename %appdata%\Adobe to Adobe_BAK and get the user to sign back into Adobe Acrobat DC with their Adobe ID

If you delete only the %appdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\acrobatfsssignature_initials files then…

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please try the following steps :

    1. Go to Fill and Sign. Choose Me.
    2. Wait for some time so that all network calls are completed in the background.
    3. Try deleting the signature now.

Let me know if this helps.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  5. In Adobe Sign, the process to send a signature could be more efficient after adding yourself as a signer in the first recipient field. After doing so, Adobe Sign could have instant suggestions on who to send the document to based on how often this recipient's signature is requested.

  6. When a ' or & is in the subject field when sending a document for signature, those characters come through as gibberish on the other end. This only happens when sending from the Acrobat pro dc desktop client.

  7. When typing Fill & Sign text, as soon as a Central European character is entered, Fill & Sign switches to another font. If the field is a comb field, it switches from a monospaced font to a proportional one and breaks the feature completely, the letters don't fit anymore into boxes that Adobe Reader shows.

Additionally, even for normal text fields, this fallback means that different fields use different font depending on if any regional characters are there or not. The result looks inconsistent and ugly.

    Hi,

Can you please provide us the following details :

    1. Version of your Acrobat. Go to Help → Check for Updates.
    2. Does the crash happens with every file or a specific PDF. If possible can you share the PDF file at sagrover@adobe.com.
    3. Are you on Win or MAC? Also can you tell us your OS version.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  10. When changing anything within a text field to a subscript or superscript, and then changing the font size of the entire field later, the subscript or superscripts are also changed to that font size. In most cases, it would be preferable to maintain characters or words that are subscripted/superscripted during an overall font size change.

  11. Holding the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) should allow for selecting/highlighting multiple, separate characters or words within a text field. Similar to how the Shift key can be used to select/highlight a single range of characters.

This would allow easier batch modification, to be used when making many singular characters within a paragraph into subscripts, for instance. Command or Control-selecting each character to be modified then enables the user to only have to click the subscript button once, instead of for each character after highlighting.

  13. This topic has been discussed before, but I want to share one thing the team might find useful.

Now we tell all Acrobat users that Adobe Fill and Sign doesn't support Arabic. But when you look at it, we are able to type Arabic very well on Desktop machines and mobile devices.

On a Mac for instance, as an Adobe CC subscriber, I have to choose English in Preferences for my Acrobat language in order to show [ Fill & Sign, Send and Track, and Send for Signature ] features in Tools workspace. If I go and change Acrobat language…

  14. I have a document with 3 pages. Two pages have landscape orientation and the last one has portrait orientation. It is not possible to sign the last page on the bottom of the page. The signature (with a picture) vanishes after closing the fill&sign tool. It reappears after opening the tool again, but anyway it is not visible in the resulting pdf-file. No matter if I use the PDF-Export of Excel or if I use the PDF Add-In of Acrobat in MS Office to create the PDF.

  15. Clicked to fill and send for signatures, added email address, it then tells me I need to sign in or upgrade to use this feature despite it saying under Help that I am still signed it. Click sign in to sign in again and nothing happens. No pop up windows, no movement, computer is not frozen, everything else is working. If i wanted to do something else in Adobe DC I could. I'm already a subscriber. Why is this not working?

  16. Signature disappears, asks me to add a new one, when I add a new one, it asks me to choose between the old and the new. Then I choose the old one, but it still won't let me add it to the document!

    Hi,

Thanks for writing to us. Please try to follow the below steps :

    1. Enter Fill and Sign app and then wait for 10 secs to make sure all network calls are complete.
    2. You can make your selection in case you observe the signature selection dialog.
    3. Try to place signature/initial.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  17. Allow user to access his contact list saved in gmail to send pdfs off for signature. There is no integration between a google suites account and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Even after adding the custom email in Pro DC, one has to copy paste email addresses when using the fill/sign feature.

  18. What if you didn't make your product worse for no reason. Like what if when I clicked Fill Forms it did what it used to do, which was let me actually click on the PDF and write things in.

Instead, now clicking on the button pops up a GIANT ******** HUGE SCREEN BLOCK prompt with two options on it, one that lets me use the feature, and the other that brings me to a completely different feature.

If you want to add another feature, add another tool, so that I can ignore it, instead of making literally every time I…

  19. I was previously able to sign documents using a saved image via the fill and sign feature. I have now installed DC and when i open the fill and sign feature, I am able to add text to a PDF document but when i click the 'Sign' button, my saved signature images do not load. The box which is supposed to contain the signature images shows up but there is no content in it.

This is happening with multiple docs. I was able to use this feature without any trouble until a few days back.

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting the issue. Can you please provide us some more details :

    1. Please make sure you are on the latest version of Acrobat. To check go to Help > Check for Updates.
    2. Are you observing a blank Sign drop down in Fill and Sign app?
    3. Are you able to use the Adobe Sign application?
    4. Can you please try signing out and then signing in to Acrobat?
    5. Are you under some network/firewall restrictions? If yes, can you please disable them and try again.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Grover

  20. I did NOT give consent for Adobe to save my signature into their cloud service!
This feature of saving my signature outside my computer should NEVER be activated without my permission!
Signing could and SHOULD be performed only locally by using local images and file, there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED for using your cloud services.
