  1. When using the "Combine Files" tool, we should be able to modify all bookmarks at once, without changing the destination of the bookmarks. For example when navigating the pages using the bookmarks, the files will open in a "Fit Width" view, unless individually modified to use "Fit Page."

I would like all documents to be viewed at "Fit Page" when using the bookmarks after combining the files, but I can only modify them individually, which is very tedious.

    Hi,

We are delighted to share with you that Acrobat and Reader Desktop release for DC Continuous (20.012.20041) is Live now and this takes care of this Feature Request

For more Info refer here : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/whats-new.html

The Set Default Bookmark Zoom Level menu item is now added to the PDF bookmark options. While creating a new bookmark, you can easily use this option to set the default zoom level. By default, the Inherit Zoom option is selected.

Also, Acrobat now provides an option in the bookmark properties to retain the destination page number when you adjust the zoom level of multiple bookmarks.

Please update your Acrobat (It should Auto update or you should do Help → Check for updates) and let us know your Feedback.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  2. As Bates Numbering/Stamping is commonly used in the legal profession and because we typically handle a large number of documents it would be nice if Adobe had the capability to allow you to Add Bates Numbering Ranges to the EXISTING File Names.

For example, after you click on Add Bates Numbers, you can click on Output Options, and the window pops-up where you can have the option to either keep the original file names OR replace the file names with the starting and ending Bates Number (e.g. 000100-000115.pdf). I want to do both and keep the original file name with…

  3. Extracting a page without a numerical "page label" is a waste of time because you have to hit 'Organize' then hit the 'More' button and select 'Page labels' then 'select all' then choose your 'style', delete the prefix to be able to give it a page number in order for the action to work. God forbid you lose you place & cant recall the sheet or sheets you need.
Please allow us to extract regardless of page labels. I've attached my screen shot of the error you get when trying to extract without a numerical page label.

    If I'm doing…

  4. I want to save a handful of pages from a pdf that's has 175 pages. When I try to extract the pages, I get an error pop-up that indicates there was an error in the page number input, however there wasn't a second window to input the pages I want to extract. I pay an exorbitant amount of money for the Adobe service that I have and I am astonished that such a simple thing cannot be done with your software.

I am attaching images of what happens even though I follow the correct process of extracting pages, (first screenshot)…

  5. In the page thumbnail area in Adobe it would be nice to be able to jump a page from its current location to the front or end of a document. Also, it would be nice to be able to copy paste a page in this area as well.

    Thank you.

  6. We often need to split a document into a single file per page. We almost NEVER split a document by every two pages.

Having to edit this number each time is redundant. I would like the option to either edit the default "split by" setting (and additionally the output settings) or alternatively have the default be 1 page.

  7. It will be very useful to have a cut/copy and paste option for moving pages within a pdf file. Currently, you can only drag pages around and this can be a little bit messy especially if working on a large file.

  8. When we open certain PDF documents and go to organise pages we cannot delete page 1. (This affects other functions that try to delete pages too). Please contact me if more files are needed.

The error is "One or more pages are in use and cannot be deleted".

    Hi,
We have fixed the issue. Kindly update to the latest version of Acrobat.
    Thank you for your patience.

  9. If I use the shortcut "Shift + Control + T" for the "Set Pages Boxes" the "Insert Pages" window shows up instead of the "Set Pages Boxes".
