  2. Today's update is horrible -- it's a big, ugly mess. I can't find anything, the icons are tiny and all of my settings are gone. Please change it back and stop resetting settings with each update.

Users -- go to File and then down to "Turn off New Adobe" to get rid of the new, horrible layout

  5. I HATE the new layout of the Acrobat PRO, it is the most frustrating layout. I have been using Acrobat for YEARS and everytime there is an update it gets worse and worse. There is nothing intuitive about the layout of the tools or that you have icons with no words to express what they stand for. I liked having the menu bar across the top. Please at least give us an option of how to go back to the old style! My workflow is constantly interrupted to have to figure things out!

  6. Can we stop with the constant pop ups? Adobe was once an elegant software. Now it's intrusive, annoying, and sluggish.

  7. I HATE the new interface. Please return it. It is not space friendly nor user friendly on my end. I use Adobe quite a bit and this is costing me time and efficiency.

  8. The new UI that was forced upon us is not the most efficient layout for everyone. Therefore, we need the ability to be able to customize access to what tools we use most often. Most of the ones I currently use take multiple clicks to get to and through this, costs me time and frustration. It seems from reading other comments that I am not alone in this viewpoint.

  9. My idea is to bring back the old function interface.

The new user interface is the most inconvenient, inexplicable, poorly organized user interface I have experienced with any Adobe product.

In the future, interfaces should be tested with real live users and not code writers.

I wish there were a way to use a "legacy" interface.

  10. Please make the pop ups stop. It's a useless feature for me. I don't want to use it, but instead the app keeps crashing because of the stupid pop up.

  11. Absolutely HATE the new interface. Hate it so much so I am taking valuable time out of my day to come here and make this post. Be interesting to see if anyone with Adobe even looks at these posts.

First, I struggle to see anyway, so making TINY LITTLE ICONS MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR!!!

I have to hover over said icons to see what they are even for then strain to see what the pop up says.

I need to be able to advance pages, zoom, etc from THE TOP OF THE DOCUMENT…

  13. Just opened a PDF file that I had worked on yesterday, and now all the menus are set out differently. How can I revert back to old display?

I want Adobe to look the same as it did yesterday. Confusion causes loss of productivity.

  16. With the 21.005.20048 Planned update, June 08, 2021, it introduced a new issue that didn't previously exist with our TMW application from Trimble.

Error = The ordinal 3282 could not be located in the dynamic link library
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.dll.

This error did not exist with the May 11 update. This error was introduced this week with the Jun 8 update.

I need to know how to roll-back or reinstall the 21.001.20155 Planned update, May 11, 2021 until this is fixed.

Please contact Trimble for more information. They may be reaching out to you as well to understand…

  17. When viewing a file in fullscreen mode, if a second file is opened it will display in normal mode, but with the menu cut off at the top. It's as though the app is still scaled up to make the main content the size of the screen. This prevents access to the menus and minimize/close buttons.

By switching back to the first PDF and exiting fullscreen mode this can be mitigated, but the bug should be fixed in the app.

  19. Acrobat crashes when copying text -- no error message appears, application just closes. Document is fairly large (~1000 pages), created in Adobe FrameMaker. Acrobat only crashes if document is tagged -- if all tagging is removed, we are able to copy text easily.

  20. When you have to highlight text and you want to change color you need to go to: Secondary button, Properties, Select the color that is by default and then choose a new color.

I suggest that when selecting the Highlight Text tool a side tab be enabled that allows us to change colors. Attached example of the suggestion
