Extracting Pages
Extracting a page without a numerical "page label" is a waste of time because you have to hit 'Organize' then hit the 'More' button and select 'Page labels' then 'select all' then choose your 'style', delete the prefix to be able to give it a page number in order for the action to work. God forbid you lose you place & cant recall the sheet or sheets you need.
Please allow us to extract regardless of page labels. I've attached my screen shot of the error you get when trying to extract without a numerical page label.
If I'm doing this wrong please correct me.

With the latest release of Acrobat on 3rd Nov, 2020, this issue has been addressed.
If your product is not already updated, you can manually do so from within the product. Click on the menu Help-> Check for updates.

I have this same issue. I am working with a PDF that has non-numerical page labels. I go to "Organize Pages" and select some pages to extract, and then hit "extract". Acrobat shows an error message "Please select a valid page range," which is unexpected because the pages are highlighted in Acrobat's UI.
