OCR existing scanned PDFs in Adobe Reader

The fact that this feature is missing will almost certainly mean that I will drop my Adobe membership. It’s just laziness on Adobe’s part.

Sadly it does not help! The Adobe Scan App (as far a s I can tell) only lets you OCR a PHOTO, not an existing PDF document! Please, please, add this ability to one of these Apps!

OCR is not sane as scanning. I wish Adobe would allow mobil OCR of saved PDF documents. Kind of like Enhanced Scans for mobil.

Hi,

Acrobat Reader for iPhone and iPad does not support OCR.

Instead, you can use the Adobe Scan app that is separately available from the App Store.
