Using Acrobat Reader for an iPad to complete fillable forms and print the completed form. After completing the form and selecting print, none of completed form fields print. Everything is left blank. The fields also show blank in the print preview. We’ve been using this system without issue for the last few months. This past Friday is when the bug occurred.
I just can’t get the printer to work with my acrobat system at all.it usual do good but I don’t know what happens.
We just released Acrobat 19.08.00 to the App Store.
Acrobat 19.08.00 includes the fix for the Printing problem with distorted text in PDF forms in Landscape orientation.
Would you please update to 19.08.00 and let us know if it works for you?
Adobe has requested examples of our original forms so they can check it out. This seems to be a similar or identical issue to what you may be experiencing. You may want to attach an example of the original form you are using where this occurs to assist them in coming up with a solution.
Correct, the fields are not blank, it is skewed into a narrow thin line. Have you been able to find a resolution?
Are your forms which appear blank in the fields oriented Landscape? Are the fields really blank, or does it appear as though the text might be there, and is ‘skewed’ into a very narrow line near the top or bottom of each field? This is the problem I am experiencing with their latest update when we share the files ‘flattened.’ Does not happen it the files are shared ‘fillable’ without flattening the PDF. Trying to get an update from Adobe that fixes this problem from their most recent update.
